Reviews
I only got the game 3 days ago and already have 14 hours in it! The gameplay loop is super addicting, and it's neat to be able to see your progress in the form of how your floating town grows. I also love the art style, and the fun character designs. Resource management can be a little challenging sometimes-- just enough to keep you engaged without being stressful-- perfect for people like myself who prefer a chill time over a hard time! Overall: I'm loving it. I hope the developer makes more games with this style!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game seems like a lot of fun - I was really looking forward to it - but I have already encountered an extremely troublesome bug where I cannot deconstruct walkways or buildings, it never completes the demolish, and I cannot build in that slot ever again. I did a quick google search and it appears that they have had similar or the same bug going back at least to 2024 when it was in early access. I can't recommend this in its current state with something so simple broken.
Great game with some bugs https://youtu.be/P9YBsA9JBuM?si=aTp9YhDsh1Vn9oKT
Flotsam is like if Raft were a city builder. It's highly addictive, I've put in 14 hours over two and a half days.
Bought this game and was hopeful it was good. Overall the base of the game is, but there are bugs that just shouldn't exist. I ran into one where for some reason I could deconstruct houses, but they leave ghosts that you can't remove, meaning I have a ghost of a duo tent on top of a shack I upgraded it to and two ghost solo tents that have all their resources removed, but once again the base it stuck there and I can't force it to remove. Seems that water limits aren't really respected after a certain point either since when I set a limit of 20 water, which was my maximum storage, the desalinator just kept going until I set it well below that point.
