This was my first time playing this kind of game. At first, I found it quite confusing, mostly because I had my Western dating reflexes: don’t upset the girl too much, play it safe, avoid risky answers. As a result, I ended up stuck in Chapter 3 with no way to move forward. But little by little, you start to understand how the game works. You need to find the right balance between being a gentleman and taking a few risks if you want to progress through the story. And when you aim for 100% of the achievements, you eventually find that same kind of progression logic. Overall, the game is really enjoyable. The girls are very pretty, you can even vote for your favorite one or ones on the leaderboard, the music is nice, and the dialogues work well too. The only real downside is that the translations in several languages don’t always feel very accurate. Apart from that, it’s cool. To be honest, it’s not a mind-blowing game, but it still deserves a 10. It’s well designed, there are secret endings, the characters are likeable — except one, but hey, tastes differ — and the actress interview sections are a nice extra touch. A very solid 10/10, despite the translation not being great. :)

A decent FMV experience, but it has some noticeable flaws. I really disliked the progression system; instead of letting you focus on a single romance path, the game forces you to try every option just to earn enough points to unlock the next chapters. This feels tedious and ruins the immersion. The English translation also needs work, as some choices are confusing. However, I still recommend it for the funny moments and the solid gooner content. It’s worth a playthrough if you know what to expect.
