Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

nice game too easy though
I know nothing about final fantasy AT ALL, the sheer amount of ff games has always put me off, i decided to pick this up as my first, cause it looks simple and i really love retro games, excellent game
This is a game that brings back so many beautiful memories. The families first game console, one of the first games we played as a family over and over again. I am so happy that this simple masterpiece gets to live on and spread the joy that my family felt together playing.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

este juego que me llevo a mi yo de 7 años en la nes jugando esta joyita ! me gusto el nuevo pixelart .. todo esta perfecto mas los logros y el bestiario.. complete 100%.. nostalgia pura. un gran juego definitivamente.
The original FF; it is a good game and enjoyable even so many years after its release. Expect about 15 to 20 hours for a full play through; a lot comes down to how much you choose to grind and how observant you are. As with a lot of older games while it will tell direct you, it doesn't lead you by the hand or smack you over the head with where to proceed next. This can lead to a lot of revisiting and talking to NPCs to discover what you need to do. Even with that in mind its enjoyable and on the easier side compared to several others in the series. Worth it on sale or at full price.
Un obligado para cualquier fan de FF
Nice nostalgia, when it all begins
Buen juego lo malo se nota que es de otra época, no te explican donde tienes que ir explícitamente si no que tienes que ir probando hasta donde te deja ir, y el logro del bestiario para el platino. Lo demás esta guay para un juego de 15h apróx.
A pretty decent rpg that was more revolutionary on its heyday but that now hasnt aged particularly well, though the quality of life options in the remaster made this a pretty good experience all things considered
Pretty good! Very simple RPG but obviously so since it's one of the grandfathers of the entire design, but with the pixel remaster it hold up, fight are fun and using magic feels really nice with the new vfx/sfx, makes you feel quite powerful. It's pretty easy the whole way though, only time I had any trouble was with the final boss, to be expected. A great RPG to start with if you've never played any before, and a good one to play retrospectively :)
