An epic dark fantasy where fates are decided by mighty Eikons and the Dominants who wield them. This is the tale of Clive Rosfield, a tragic warrior who swears revenge on the Dark Eikon Ifrit, a mysterious entity that leaves naught but calamity in its wake.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

About
A plethora of powerful swordplay techniques and Eikonic abilities lie within Clive's remit—and it is up to you to decide which ones you wish to learn or upgrade. If you're having trouble choosing, upgrades can be unlocked automatically.
Story-focused mode is recommended for those players who are less comfortable with action games and wish to focus more on the game's story elements. In this mode, Clive will automatically evade some attacks, and epic Eikonic combos can be triggered with simple button presses. Action-focused mode, where Clive's every action is controlled by the player, is available for those who are confident in their skill—or want to test it.
- FINAL FANTASY XVI Base Game
- “Onion Sword” weapon (Available for redemption from the System tab in the Main Menu upon reaching the main scenario quest "A Chance Encounter.")

que juego mas hermoso, muy parecido a la jugabilidad de final fantasy 7 remake, me encanta esta reinvención de los nuevos juegos de RPG
.
spent the past month playing this, finished a couple nights ago and out of 100+ hours i only got through one playthrough (spent the majority of the time eavesdropping on npc convos, reading all the tomes and vivian's reports LOL). i am going to contradict myself when i list my gripes - but while the game definitely has its flaws, you really shouldn't let the nattering voices discourage you from picking this up and playing it for yourself. i for one am a sucker for medieval settings, politics, killing gods, and tragic sexy men. proud to call this the 2nd final fantasy game i've completed in full (after 1997 ff7, which i actually didn't enjoy as much) lol. i just know the story and characters are going to stay with me for a long time POSITIVES • the lore is so well written (big up active time lore) and you can tell a lot of time was put into worldbuilding through npc dialogue, sidequests, tomes, vivian, etc. • combat was so much fun. i even found myself experimenting with builds, which i never do! usually i find one i like and stick with it until the end. even with the occasional ultimate spamming, combat never got as tedious as i expected. favourite eikons were bahamut, ifrit, garuda + odin towards the end • i really like the web of connections thingy (i keep forgetting what its called). some of the inner thoughts were sweet and funny • CLASS CONSCIOUSNESS, social commentary, collectivism, etc! the story mirrors present day with slavery, labour exploitation & the commodification of bearers. i'd love to read an essay about the socialist links because someone out there can definitely articulate it better than me • SIDE CHARACTERS! gav, lubor, harpocrates, vivian, martha, wade, jote, tarja, kihel, terrence, byron, edda....literally everyone minus quentin and charon. i am lubor's number one fan. and i still ship wade and martha • terrence and dion were cute, wouldve loved to see more of them.. • hopeless romantic asta.. she deserved her own point. i admire her dedication, though i wish we'd gotten some funny dialogue between her and clive, especially at the end • boss fights are very entertaining • music!!! my star!!!! amanda achen and masayoshi soken deserve awards for that song alone. i dream of hearing it live someday • voice acting!!! never thought i'd hear northern accents in a ff game but i adored it. it made it sound like home. i'd take more english voice acting over standard american accents any day LOL. ralph ineson and ben starr did their big ones. jill's voice is also so sweet and suits her perfectly. ultima has a calling as an asmrtist • rising tides was very good. mysidia is gorgeous and i liked having a different kind of dominant • svarog hunt...idk why but this was the most memorable for me. completed at level 38...i still get flashbacks •
clive confronting annabella....
absolute cinema • timely accessories. i did use them when i wanted to get on with the story, but they're such a nice addition. especially the doge one - it felt like a little minigame within combat • i see criticisms of the story direction after the flash forward becoming muddled with the
"killing a god" trope
, but i think it makes sense. they needed to
stop ultima to stop the blight and create a better world where (say it with me) everyone can live and die on their own terms
. could've been handled more smoothly, but i think it makes sense in the grand scheme of things. i also don't think it would've been as interesting if the sole focus was on the hideaway GRIPES • character relationships often feel sidetracked.
we see very little of clive, jill, joshua and torgal despite them growing up together in rosaria. i expected more fanfare when they reunited, but it's basically "oh thank the founder you're alive!" and then onwards. i would've loved more sidequests focused on them instead of random npcs. i'd especially have liked to see how clive and jill's relationship changed over the 5 years, more of jill's life in the iron kingdom, joshua's activities with the undying, and jill/torgal's relationship. joshua and torgal barely get anything either. i guess this is the cost of worldbuilding > dynamics, but overall jill felt like a second thought. i wouldve liked to see maybe a flashback or two of her life in the northern territories and her family
• really didn't like the ending and think it was way too rushed and abrupt.
i am totally adamant that clive didn't die on the beach. we never saw him struggling with the curse (minus migraines from ultima), so it doesn't really make sense to me that he just...died. or maybe i'm in denial
. i expected more to happen and when the credits started rolling i was just like...oh? ik it will never happen but i'd be down for a sequel/spinoff • pacing really went downhill after titan iirc.. mid's quest will haunt me LOL • not a fan of constant sidequest dumping after main story boss fights. i don't like keeping a backlog and try to do everything as it appears, so 10+ quests right before the end was just too much. then more pop up after completing them. felt shoehorned in • sidequests would be better if dialogue was shorter or there was an option to speed it up. npcs talk SO damn much and i often found myself zoning out. otherwise i don't mind fetch quests as little breaks • found the lack of commentary regarding the harm of prostitution
(like the dude who stalked the girl to mysidia and the dude who ended up getting a veil girl killed in an earlier quest)
disappointing. it was all brushed over. still kind of confused on how the dame manages to hold such a high position during this time period? • kinda irrelevant but i laughed every time i returned to the hideaway and oscar was STILL outside clive's chambers thanking him for
letting him return to eastpool. every time i hoped for new dialogue. i like to imagine he stayed there for eternity
• wish we'd gotten the lore on the suspicious character at the top of the hideaway. ik he was with clive when he was in the cell but i can't help thinking there's more to him • not much to spend gil on. towards the end i had ~500k and just splashed out on orchestrion rolls • personally found echoes of the fallen quite boring. did get omega weapon though and stuck with it until endgame • nitpicky, but i wish there were more outfit customisation options. jill's 2nd outfit is gorgeous while clive's burnt(?) outfit is fugly im sorry. joshua's 2nd outfit is also meh • REALLY hated fighting echoes. phoenix gate already felt never-ending and echoes of the fallen did the same thing • i had more trouble with leviathan than any other eikon or ultima. died about 3 times during leviathan's shield ;; so i guess this is both a positive and negative • I WISHHHHH THERE WERE MINIGAMES. triple triad from ff8 would've been amazing, especially during tedious sidequests • regional design. i get that it's a medieval setting, but the lands felt very barren and most towns across valisthea looked identical (minus dhalmekia). i didn't realise how much variety was missing until mysidia • accents. i don't really get why cid has an english accent when he's from waloed? iirc rosaria is based off england, sanbreque france, waloed norway and dhalmekia north africa/arabia. it threw me off a few times. would've loved more region-specific accents • wish lootboxes actually had valuable stuff. i think the only lootboxes that were useful were the ones you'd see in dungeons. the ones out in the open are useless unless you need crafting materials • all i think when i see ultima is that he could be mads mikkelsen's twin. i'm sure that's a plus if you're a fan • quentin. that's it. glad i never have to hear his voice again. weirdest side character in the game hands down i may come back and edit this if i think of more points. i doubt i will go for final fantasy mode anytime soon as i dont want to get burnt out

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
