Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.78/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

j aime tout FF Forever
Remixed/mastered music is easily 10/10. Hunting for steam achievements in a jrpg is still as enjoyable as testicular torsion.
So far of the pixel remasters this one is my favourite, it might be missing some content from the OG FF5 but Gilgamesh the best character in the franchise is here and thats what matters <3
Have never played before this version but I've seen couple of friends playing it like decades ago. Always thought it was special as a Final Fantasy fan. So far, I really enjoy the job system and what you can with it. The new effects they put in are really adding something cool to what is already there. Nice thing they put the original soundtrack in it (can't say I hate the new one but let's just say I'm a nostalgic kinda guy). Story wise, we know there's been stronger FFs but seriously, it's just a fun play. Overall, great game for those who like old school JRPGs !
This is another great entry. - I really like Bartz, our MC - The companions aren't as many as FF5, but they're better integrated into the story and we have some bonding moments thanks to it - The lore is a bit sketchy to me, not much is explained yet there is A LOT of explain-worthy stuff going on - Combat is solid and enjoyable - Exploration is ok, side content is sparse but worth it - Similar story to FF1-4, but they peaked here, at least. Could've been a tad shorter - Gilgamesh my darling. Honestly he's such a buddy in this! I love him. Good origin story - Like most other pixelremasters the villain lacks... a lot
Final Fantasy V was soooooooooo fun omg. The story is extremely simple, but honestly, I enjoyed it more than FF4. It doesn't try to be anything crazy, and it kept me interested the whole way through. The characters are decent, but I'd say this is definitely one area where FF4 did better. The absolute highlight is the Job System. It's easily one of my favorite gameplay systems in the series so far. Experimenting with different job combinations and making completely broken builds to destroy bosses was just so much fun. It also gives the game a ton of replay value. The soundtrack is still good, but I'd say it's a step down from FF4. Overall, FF5 may not have the strongest story, but its gameplay easily makes up for it. I honestly ended up enjoying it much much more than FF4.
