Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

This game deserves more love. I’ve always heard so much more about Final Fantasy IV and VI than this one, I haven’t played VI yet at the time of writing but this game blew IV out of the water for me. Sure maybe the characters lack a little individuality as a result of the revolving job system and there's a much smaller cast but I still loved the story just as much if not more and the gameplay is so so much better. FFIV I was pretty tired of the fights about 15 hours in, FFV I was still interested in what I could do and what combos I could unlock when I finished the game at the 40 hour mark, the game just has so much more depth mechanically. I loved the job system and experimenting with all the different ability combinations I could make with my party, by the end of the game I had basically broken it and Exdeath was a walk in the park. Which is not a knock at all, I love when a game rewards you for using and experimenting with its systems by giving you ways to create broken combos. Definitely a game worth going back to if you never played it, I think the game holds up really well.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.78/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

El padre del sistema de jobs, mejoro el sistema del 3 y creo un precedente para todo un futuro de rpgs
Story is fine, The pixel remake is great, but there is so much grinding. Im stuck at a boss and if you dont have a certain Bard spell or mastered a job you get one shotted. Brutal sitting grinding for hours and hours. maybe have another 4hrs of grinding to beat one boss near the end. Oh and you can miss key spells that make your life so much easier in the end
Great game!
Similarly to IV, the second half of the game decides to waste your time and spit in your face. The 5th game and it's still hot garbage.
