Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

FF3 was my very first Final Fantasy. I played it back then on the Nintendo DS, so this one hits a nostalgia nerve. FF1 and FF2 were both new to me when I got to them in this marathon; FF3 is the one I already knew would be good. And the Pixel Remaster is spot on. Both the 3D DS version and this 2D one have their own charm. Story-wise and character-wise, the game doesn't have much personality, but the job system more than makes up for it. There are a lot of classes and they're distinct enough that you actually want to try different combinations, even if some jobs are flat-out useless. Several dungeons and bosses feel built to show off specific abilities, which pushes you out of whatever comfortable setup you've settled into. The other thing that got me is how the overworld keeps expanding. Between that and the combat, this is easily the strongest of the original trilogy. ...Don't be afraid to do some farm though.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

FF3 continues the evolutionary nature of the Final Fantasy series. If you're playing through in order, like i am, then this game will feel like so much more than the last two. Expectations will be subverted (if you're playing blind) and the new job system adds an entirely new and interesting layer of complexity and strategic thinking. Do yourself a favor if you're going for 100% and make use of the in-game maps and bestiary as well as the full amount of save slots to keep saves at different points just in case you miss something in one of the one-time only locations (I had to do a second playthrough all the way up until a certain one-time dungeon just to encounter the one missing entry in my bestiary because none of my saves were from prior to said dungeon). Maybe play with a spoiler free missables guide if you don't want to stress out or if you want to be more efficient than I was. If you lean on the job system to exploit enemy weaknesses, manage your resources well, and make sure you collect the items and treasures as you go, then there's really no need to grind at any point. On my second playthrough, I felt like I always had plenty of Gil and an ever-growing plethora of tools to handle any battle I came across. Also, as a bonus, playing this way made the battles more engaging. So there are plenty of options to play how you'd like in order to tailor the experience to your tastes. Give it a shot if you like the older FF games or are curious about them! It's a lot of fun!

Final Fantasy III é um bom jogo. A história acompanha quatro jovens escolhidos pelos Cristais da Luz, que precisam restaurar o equilíbrio do mundo diante da ameaça da escuridão. A narrativa é simples e direta. Existem 22 Jobs no total.
pretty good game in the series, really fun
This was one of my favourite of all the Pixel Final Fantasy games. The story was good, the artwork is masterful, and the mechanics were genuinely fun. ♡ Gameplay: 20/20 ♡ Writing: 15/20 ♡ Visuals: 20/20 ♡ OST/SFX: 20/20 ♡ Accessibility: 20/20 ♡ Total: 95/100 - Celeste <3
PROS(+) + introducing lots of jobs and skills + good art + cool transportation + feature to less grind CONS(-) - still can be grindy : job levels can be a hassle to level through - less immersive story : i liked FF2 story better, it had more drama - can still be confusing on where to go Score : 83% (A-tier) good game. 3>1>2
Another fun FF game. Dialogue was pretty bad though XD.
With the third installment of the series, the road goes further, i obviously also here got every achievement, and relived childhood memories. imo the best of the originals.
