FINAL FANTASY® III, one of the best-loved games from the epic RPG series, available on Steam.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Love
pixel remaster instead this is on reflection a horrible port

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

i almost cried and thought I would have to fought the last boss a third time. I killed the wrong tentacle. So I had to endure being zapped over and over again with the other tentacle and getting smacked by both of them buffed. I got some relief when the buffs wore off. I kept to the strategy of throwing crap at them. I also am sad I made it harder by wasting most shurikens on the wrong tentacle. it got easier once I downed the other one and it was just the boss. I didnt realize that once I was near the end that the particle beam was going to be used every round. HOWEVER. I realized at the point that I was getting hard spammed with slaps and lightning my poor monk had to stay dead. But getting the first one down was done with holy flare and shurikens. the second I threw everything else. Thankfully I still had excaliber and ragnarok to throw at the lightning tentacle. The boss I just kept hitting with all the other throwable ♥♥♥♥. I did find the last spear bought on the invincible did do almost max damage. While she started using the particle beam I i got one to two throws off and had to rez. So annoying, even though I did the order of tentacles backwards I still did it! ♥♥♥♥ FF 3. The ending was tooooooooooooo looooooooooong. It only lasted ten minutes but I hated every second and I hated the characters I didnt care. I didnt care about the lore or story. That is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ endless cycle lore story. I hate those, the cycle will start again with light being too much. which is dumb and doesnt even make sense. Light sunshine pleasant weather isnt a problem, it is peak enviroment for people and creatures to thrive, but no according to that the darkness has to come back becausee if there is too much goodness the dark warriors have to come back. that implies these poor sould that fought all this darkness back will be captured and put in crystals to fight the goodness? Is any of this making any sense? That by that logic people will be too loving and good and evil must come back and make things ♥♥♥♥♥♥ again? But even by that logic it cant happen because the source of all evil is dead so the existance will end because things are too good! That is the stupid lore they created, but no! no one thinks that way. they think it is done. It is like sin in FF 10, but unlike 10 that has a great story but unfotunately bad VAs or a director for the VAs. idk which, maybe you can tell me. The story was pretty good and the ended the cycle. FF 3 doesnt! If that wasnt enough alone, this game punishes you for no reason. Three parts where you can die and if you dont save you are so screwed! The statues, the pond, and there was another one I forget. no saves and dungeons that arent fun they are slog. If you like this game you are a complete idiot! I saw someone say this was a pperefect game that realized leveling and job strategy and mechanics. HUH?! There is no startegy to be had. Either you level to 50 and absolutely abuse game mechanics or grind out to 100 to just brute force a win. I took the abuse route because I didnt want to waste my time playing this any longer than I had to. Running around for hours only to lose progress to the fact I cant save anywere but the world map is stupid AF! Especially for the crystal palace. There is no strategy to the game. Anyone who says other wise is BRAIN DEAD!. I only did this as a ff to ff 10 play through with mystic quest and adding ff tactics. I am not doing ff 7 remake. It looks cool but I dont care to play it for the price tag. I am allowing comments so people who disagree can bring all the hate they want so if you want to get dunked on for attacking me over the worst FF in gaming history go ahead! Who ever thought power leveling and grinding out levels to the max as fun, a game mechanic or strategy is an idiot. You are also and idiot if you think any of those things apply to this. It is simply grinding like an idiot for bad game design and game play for a really stupid plot and ending that isnt worth the time and the 131 hours I wasted on it. My playthrough was 30 hours and it wasnt from figuring things our because it was hard. It was me wondering around without clues as to where I am going and then looking it up online because I am tired of running around blind. And then looking up what to do next so I dont end up dying for no reason and losing progress and my sanity. I do plan to check out the pixel remake because this game is pure trash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I probably wont feel a lot better about it because it still will have that dumb story and plot.
雖然沒玩過2D像素版 可是體會到早期FF的故事 是蠻不錯的體驗
refia is literally daughtercore
Joguinho gostosinho. Pena que não tem um remake 3D dos dois primeiros, do quinto e nem do sexto.
Its an okay remake of Final Fantasy III. Honestly if you are considering any version I would say that the pixel remaster is a better experience, but the game held a special place in my heart when I first played it on my tablet as a kid. The only thing actually causing me to bump down my review is the game doesn't run on Linux while the pixel remasters run fine for me. I'd say buy it if its discounted, and skip unless you are really desperate to play this version of Final Fantasy III for some reason
Started playing through all of the FF games. Job system in this one was very interesting. Love the series and enjoyed this installment.
Um dos melhores Final Fantasy que existem, joguem essa versão em 3D
