Season 3 is a step backwards in the game in my opinion. Artificially inflated grind till endgame, needlessly convoluted loot system and gearing. This ain't it Chief Rebel.
Anti-Cheat still blocks Cloud Gaming. No response from devs for months. Wasted money on supporter pack and can't refund.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really wanted to enjoy Season 3 of Fellowship, but the developers have turned the end-game into an unapologetic, frustrating slot machine. The recent changes to itemization and progression have completely killed the joy of theory-crafting and pushing high keys. Here is exactly why the current system is fundamentally broken: 1. Layer Upon Layer of Unforgiving RNG Getting a usable piece of gear is now a mathematical nightmare. You need the correct base stat, the correct Set piece (like Seal of the Heskyr), and the correct Modifiers (Traits and Blessings). If you get Imbued Essence (Gem Power) instead of the Blessing you actually need, your damage falls off a cliff. 2. The Reroll Trap and Legendary Souldust The upgrading and rerolling system is a massive trap. Once you upgrade a piece of gear to its maximum potential (Tempered 8/8), you can still reroll its modifiers to get the perfect stats. Sounds good, right? Except rerolling at this stage requires Legendary Souldust. The catch? You can't buy it from the resource vendor. You have to pray for it to drop as an end-of-dungeon reward with an abysmal, lottery-like drop rate, or rely on extreme RNG to drop a random Legendary item just so you can salvage it. You are bottlenecked by a currency that refuses to drop. 3. Removal of QoL Features In previous patches, we could at least use the Blacksmith/Artisan to reroll an unwanted piece of gear, which gave us a chance to randomly hit a needed set piece. This was a fantastic way to mitigate bad dungeon drops. For some baffling reason, the developers removed this reroll feature in Season 3. Now, you have absolutely zero bad-luck protection. 4. Matchmaking and Downscaling are Miserable Because the grind is so punishing, the LFG system is completely broken. PUGs will only run the fastest, easiest dungeons (like Tuzari Grove) to farm basic resources. If you need to target-farm a specific set from a longer dungeon, nobody wants to do it. And if you try to farm bases on lower difficulties, the aggressive downscaling system neuters your character, making your 15k+ stats completely irrelevant. The developers have artificially inflated the playtime by adding frustrating walls, removing the gear reroll mechanic, and implementing weekly timegates. The game no longer rewards skill or dedication; it only rewards blind luck. Until they fix the Legendary Souldust drop rates and bring back gear rerolling at vendors, I strongly advise against playing Season 3.
Very unique and satsifying game, don't listen to ragebaiter <3
I wanted a game that was just MMO-style dungeons, and Fellowship is exactly that game. I liked the game when I first started playing, and I've liked it more each season. There are still rough edges, but the game keeps getting better and better. I'm having a blast, and I expect that it'll be even more fun next season!
If you're not playing with a full group, game is quickly turning into a 10+min queue simulator. It simply does not work as a session based alternative to WoW if you try to play solo. I could even argue that queue times as DPS in this game are orders of magnitude worse than in WoW, since online is low even after major update release.
I played through the NDA alphas, every closed beta and open beta running pretty high keys and leaderboarded on alphas when it was infront of the map. Refunding because it's just gotten worse than the last I played through unlock systems, no longer able to gear alts (granted this change was made in betas but it's still awful), grinding early/mid game is such an incrementally slow slog etc. Lastly I had unlocked a mount in a beta that should've been in my account on purchase, which it's not and there is no support. I asked on discord which is the only place you can talk about this game and there is no support and was told people fell through the cracks and there is nothing they (the devs) can do about it.
I came to Fellowship as a World of Warcraft player who really enjoys playing dungeon content with my friends. I'm personally not the sort of player who enjoys questing or paying attention to story mode or cutscenes in multiplayer games. Fellowship is exactly the kind of content I wanted; quick dungeons i can play with my friends, cool combat and heroes with interesting gear upgrade systems. Chief Rebel is highly communicative with the player base about their feedback in the Fellowship discord, and I feel like I'm consistently getting more out of the game than the small amount that I paid for it. The game is more bug-free than modern day AAA titles and still early access because it's a labor of love by the developer who is still figuring out the exact level of scope they want to expand their game to. Recently they added a "Pinnacle Dungeon" that is more boss-focused than the rest of their content, where you do what is essentially a 4-player, 3 boss raid. It was really hard and demanding and I felt like I really accomplished something when my friends and I finally beat it. All that said, you may have a worse experience than I did if: 1) You NEED the content to have a story. I don't know who the bad guys are or what their agenda is and I think that's just swell. 2) You do NOT like 4 player dungeon gameplay. That's the whole game and you're not getting anything else. 3) You are attached to your RPG characters forever. Your character is reset on season restart and they're heroes like League of Legends, not characters you made yourself. I love Fellowship and will likely continue to play it often for as long as it's supported and iterated on by the developer; it's really polished without the jank you'd associate with early access titles and I look forward to every new season. Great games are made in Sweden!
