Congratulations, you’ve bought your own planet! An agrarian rock at the edge of the galaxy that, for some reason, was practically being given away for free. So the time has come to leave your hectic, stressful life in an overcrowded metropolis for a more rural and rewarding life.

Recomendo este jogo? Sim 👍Farlands me surpreendeu demais! I really really REALLY wanted to recommend Farlands. I follow and genuinely like the creator behind it, and the game has a lot of charm on paper. The cozy farming/life sim idea, the art style, the atmosphere, and the overall concept all made me want to support it. Sadly, I cannot recommend it in its current state because there is a serious progression-blocking bug that has been known for months and still has not been properly fixed. The issue is the blacksmith disappearing. This is not a small visual bug or a minor inconvenience. The blacksmith is tied to tool upgrades and progression, so when he disappears, you can get effectively softlocked. In my case, I reached a point where I simply could not continue progressing normally because a core mechanic became inaccessible. What makes this especially frustrating is that this is not a brand-new issue. Players have been discussing the missing blacksmith bug since April, and now we are almost in July with no real fix or clear communication that I can find. Restarting, checking different times, reinstalling, or trying to work around it should not be necessary for such a basic progression system. I understand that this is an Early Access game, and bugs are expected. I do not expect perfection. But there is a huge difference between normal Early Access jank and a known game-breaking bug that can stop players from continuing their save. When a bug affects core progression, it should be treated as a top priority, especially when the game is close to leaving Early Access. That is what disappoints me the most. I wanted to support this game. I wanted to like it. But right now, buying Farlands feels risky because you may invest hours into your save only to get blocked by a bug that has apparently been around for months. I may change this review if the blacksmith issue is fully fixed and the game becomes reliably playable. Until then, I cannot recommend buying it. Wait until there is confirmation that this progression blocker is gone.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Farlands, developed by Eric Rodríguez and JanduSoft and published by JanduSoft alongside Anotherindie, takes a familiar farming simulator formula and launches it into deep space with considerable charm. Rather than inheriting a countryside estate, players receive ownership of a neglected planet situated on the outskirts of a distant solar system. The premise is simple but effective: leave behind a hectic life and begin anew among the stars. From the moment players touch down, Farlands presents an inviting blend of farming, crafting, exploration, and community-building that feels both recognizable and refreshingly different. The game's biggest strength is how naturally it combines its two central ideas. On one hand, there is the comforting routine of tending crops, raising livestock, fishing, and expanding your property. On the other, there is the excitement of venturing beyond your homeworld in a damaged spacecraft that gradually becomes your ticket to discovery. Exploring neighboring planets introduces new resources, hidden secrets, and environmental variations that prevent the gameplay from becoming repetitive. This interplanetary element gives Farlands a stronger sense of adventure than many games in its genre, encouraging players to think beyond the boundaries of a single map. Progression is handled well throughout the experience. Every task contributes toward a larger goal, whether it's restoring abandoned structures, improving tools, or unlocking new technologies. The crafting system serves as the connective tissue between nearly all mechanics, rewarding players for gathering materials and experimenting with upgrades. There is a satisfying sense of momentum as simple farming tools evolve into more advanced equipment, and humble beginnings eventually lead to a thriving settlement. Farlands excels at making even small accomplishments feel meaningful, creating an addictive cycle of "just one more day" that fans of life simulators will immediately recognize. The game's cast of characters adds personality to the otherwise isolated setting. Residents have individual stories and requests that help establish a sense of community across the solar system. While the writing does not attempt to be overly dramatic or complex, it succeeds in making interactions enjoyable and giving players additional reasons to engage with the world. Relationships develop at a comfortable pace, complementing the title's relaxed atmosphere. Combined with various side activities and customization options, there is enough content here to support extended play sessions without feeling overwhelming. Visually, Farlands embraces an appealing pixel-art style that balances nostalgia with a subtle science-fiction identity. Alien environments are colorful and distinct, while the soundtrack reinforces the game's calm and inviting tone. Whether you're harvesting crops under an unfamiliar sky or exploring a distant planet for rare minerals, the presentation consistently supports the fantasy of building a new life far from civilization. The developers clearly understand the appeal of cozy games and deliver an experience that prioritizes comfort without sacrificing a sense of progression. That said, Farlands is not entirely free of flaws. Certain mechanics can feel grind-heavy, especially during the early stages when resources are limited and travel options remain restricted. Inventory management occasionally becomes cumbersome, and some players may wish that exploration mechanics were introduced more quickly. There are also moments where the game's ambition slightly exceeds its execution, resulting in pacing issues that can slow momentum. However, these shortcomings rarely overshadow the overall experience and are easier to forgive considering the game's scope and the evident care put into its world. Farlands ultimately succeeds because it offers more than a standard farming simulator. By merging cozy life-sim mechanics with light space exploration, it creates a distinctive identity that separates it from many of its contemporaries. Its engaging progression, charming presentation, and satisfying sense of discovery make it an easy recommendation for players looking for a relaxing adventure with a touch of science fiction. While it may not reinvent every aspect of the genre, it confidently expands upon established ideas and delivers a memorable journey among the stars. Rating: 8/10
