Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a mid game. 4/10 (where 5 = minimal recommend). Only recommend if you are looking for a casual experience that is visually appealing above all else. I got it for dirt cheap in a bundle, not bad for that too. You get the typical far cry experience. Do quests, fight animals, complete outposts to clear some of the map. With adjustments: Base upgrades for progression, side modes where you drop in, grab an objective, and have to extract. It feels like a casual gamers game. Pros: Visually stunning. Graphics are good, natural environment is nice, UI is clean. Map is easy to browse. Guns-firing feels fine, compared to previous games. You can have an ally fight with it, and they can get stronger with more kills. Doesn't always work well, just a decent idea. I thought fishing was neat Cons: All else. It just looks good, is mainly it. Here's some drawbacks off the top of my head: * Spawns are funny. The place feels like a warzone, there's always someone somewhere. * While the guns feel fine, combat itself is bad. Everything has hp bars strictly because bosses are too tanky and because weapons are tiered. Tiered weapons do nearly double the damage of previous tiers, and there's only 4 tiers of weapons/enemies. * As per above, and in other places (e.g., skills), balance is off. * Can have janky moments. For example, enemies on motorbikes/quads LEAP off straight up in the air for some reason. * Pathing of animals makes them effectively useless, just jump on/off a rock or something. Same with enemies in vehicles. A quest for being chased on the turret of a vehicle was them running into rocks or struggling to keep up, didn't even need to shoot. It was the most anticlimatic being chased quest I've ever seen. * Boss design is terrible. The boss with the antagonists is unbalanced beyond belief. Randomly healed in my fight. 'Boss' animals can easily be cheesed, but are too tanky for non-legendary weapons and run/despawn. Either get a legendary weapon to make it easy or don't do them at all. * For some reason it has microtransactions (just for buying ammo / easily craftable weapons / skins for non-public games?) which causes crafting to require loading to connect with ubisoft. * Base upgrades is minimalistic. Feels unessessary, you just redo an outpost a few times and boom you maxed out that tier of upgrades. * Feels like you don't need animal skins. You trade them for crafting materials; although they never felt needed. I only bothered for the achievement later on. Animals don't seem integrated into the game well -- they're more of an aesthetic and for bonus stuff. * Antagonist is cringy. It's the classic ubisoft trying to be inclusive and diverse. They spend the entire game trying to intimidate, meanwhile you just wonder why you gave up your guns when they asked you to. * You can tell not much focus is on the gameplay. As an example, there's no cap on some skill upgrade levels, which is fine, but you can't respec. So for example you can in theory screw yourself with extra useless punch/kick damage. There's some odd design choices here and there like that. * 'Expeditions' (drop in to extract a package) level design feels minimalistic. Charge in, grab the package, run away, then wait 2 minutes for a helicopter to arrive killing some of them here and there. Enemies will always be aware of where you are when you grab the package, and will constantly respawn, so stealth is needless, and oddly fighting them also feels not worth it compared to just running somewhere safe killing time.
It's decent. It's more like a DLC for FC5 than it is a separate game though. Same map, some familiar faces, almost identical gameplay. In some ways I prefer the Apocalyptic setting in New Dawn. Especially since it IS an extension to the previous game. If you like Far Cry 5, you'll like this too...
