Ada "Peak" Rook has done it again

I sort of felt as if i had properly gathered my thoughts on this game together upon finishing it again a few days ago, but having now explored some of the optional content i dont really know what to say. It is a deeply personal work and it did a great job at putting me at unease during the whole thing. The art and music drive forward the exact emotion it wants at any given time, it's wonderful.

Nice, peaceful, melancholic time. I Felt like it was written and designed in such a personal, emotional, and often unusual way that it struck a chord. I don't know which one. I also learned after the fact the dev is a musician I only know a few (but good) things about. Would recommend.

The visuals, setting, story, and music combine into the most unsettling feeling I have ever experienced in a video game, without anything hunting you down or threatening you, just a calm presentation of a beautiful dying world. Like breathing gasoline.

pretty good, esoteric and stuff

Wonderful gem of an indie game. Moody atmosphere with nice art and an incredible soundtrack. The story is mostly told through flashbacks, memories, and dreams with not a lot of concrete details. A lot of the world and character building needs to be put together by the player. This may be frustrating for some players but I believe these aspects of the game make it quite unique. A lot of what you will get out of this game will come from what you bring to it. Your personal experiences and relationships will deeply affect your interpretations of characters and events. Much more so than other games with an average story. One play through can be completed in a couple hours but the $20 price tag is well worth it. There are also secrets in each of the areas of the world that you can find further extending your playtime. If you enjoy more surrealist adventures like Yume Nikki or OFF then this game is something you should definitely check out. This is an experience everyone should try at least once.
