In it's present state the game is functional but the effort that has been sunk into this game to make it acceptable could have been spent making a new, good fallout game. The game still suffers from: -It's very evident the NPCs were added post-design. -Stories / quests are MMO staples. -Tonally different than last 3 games. -Everything has durability -Sleazy cash shop practices, not evil just tactless It does run well and look great so finding out the above yourself is pretty accessible.

The game is completely broken and unplayable. Both me and my wife have same issues on two different PCs. Game is just crashing without any error or log. If it's not crashing you will be disconnected from the server and couldn't connect back until restart. You cannot play even for 5 minutes before crash/disconnect. I have done everything you can do with the game, I dug through the whole internet to find any possible solutions. It doesn't work because Bethesda cannot fix it. This game is dead. Do not buy it.

laziest game ever made, every new update is underwhelming, and Bethesda doesnt keep their word for sh*t. This review comes after ATTEMPTING the Atlantic City "rose room" quests almost 2-3 YEARS after it came out, and could you guess what happened, a glitch that stops you from being able to complete the fcking questline on the second mission. I get there is a work around but are we serious, just fix the damn glitch. ALSO THE ENTIRE QUESTLINE IS STRAIGHT FCKING YAP AND FETCH QUESTS, NOTHING ENGAGING, UNIQUE, OR FUN, AND THERS NO EFFORT PUT IN. also the new seasons continue to be ass and they removed the only unique form of battle pass, the scoreboard, in exchange for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "choose your own reward" pass where everything is locked behind the pay to win subscription "Fallout 1st". You have to be past tier 100 to get everything LMAO. They continue to have utterly terrible rewards like a TURQOISE DESTROYED BATHROOM SET? actually laughable game with terrible devs who dont make an effort. There is also a glitch where you can completely lose your power armor, I actually had a friend lose 2 SETS. 2. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE, he wasnt given jack for any of it (shocker). did I mention Im past level 1000 so my opinion is completely justified. ALSO ADD ANOTHER RAID WTFFF ARE WE DOING
I started playing after they added NPCs to the world. It was fun at first, with veteran players giving me lots of stuff. I even bought Fallout 1st for a year, but eventually the game started to feel stale. I’d recommend it if you’re interested in the story or want to participate in community events, such as the theater performances. However, despite already having to buy the game, the new battle pass is absolutely terrible. It practically forces you to pay for the membership. If you enjoy the building aspect like I did, you’re probably better off playing another single-player or co-op sandbox game—or just Fallout 4.
