broken, kinda poorly aged, and every time i alt tab Todd Howard himself personally tracks my location and hunts me down so he can forcefully enter my humble abode and violate me via pinning me down and sodomising me violently, but it's still pretty good. got to experience what having a loving father would be like, 6/10

I know a lot of people really hate this game but I love it. It's hidden on my Steam library because I have a modded version that I launch instead. If you can get a modded version of this game that fulfills everything you want out of this game, you will enjoy it.

I've played this game but now I got this game on steam is a pain in the ass installing neccesary files to run the game correctly
Bethesda revives the Fallout franchise originally produced by Black Isle, and does a pretty damn good job. Unlike the previous installments, the game is played entirely in real-time and can be switched between first person or third person mode. The damage and damage reduction system is simplified compared to earlier Fallout games. It works, but armor doesn't feel as effective, especially at high levels. There is so much content; every time I play, I find new random encounters or npc scavengers in out of the way heaps of rubble. And that's without mods (note: the Steam version REQUIRES the "Archive Invalidation" mod found on Nexusmods.com in order to play on modern systems; so far it seems to be a safe site, but don't click on any outgoing links) The setting (D.C. Wasteland) is where it really shines though. No other game, Fallout or otherwise, has come close to producing the same feel of living in a post nuclear apocalypse.
Perfect if you want to dip your toe into the Fallout series.
