Fallout 2: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game

Amazing game with great story and a lot of humor and references to sooooo many other things, such as Monthy Python, Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy and much more. Have played the game many times and enjoy it every time!

As a person who plays games for story, this is the greatest game I have ever played. It is quite literally perfect. I am not a person who will dislike games for gameplay or how boring it is. If the story is good, I will play it. I am a huge Fallout fan, and this is by far the best in the series.

Po raz pierwszy Fallout 2 przeszedlem w grudniu 1999 roku, co jakiś czas wracałem do gry z różnymi podejściami. W tym roku po ponad 10 latach od kiedy ostatnio w nią grałem postanowiłem odświeżyć sobie trochę wspomnienia i w sumie rzetelnie spróbować pograć z Restoration Project Updated + poprawienie DT/DR dla cześci broni - tak, aby amunicja AP miała sens, w tym pistolet 14 mm zadawał obrażenia większe niż 10 mm. Ważna uwaga - pozostawienie włączonej synchronizacji steam z fallout 1 lub 2 może powodować uszkodzenie zapisanych plików save - grałem na zmianę na dwóch komputerach i w pewnym momencie automatycznie zsychronizowany zapis gry na innym komputerze nie pozwalał na uruchomienie - wyskakiwał błąd i grę wywalało do pulpitu. Ale ten sam zapis na pierwszym komputerze działał normalnie - przynajmniej do momentu kiedy steam ponownie się zsynchronizował. Problem pojawiał się cyklicznie. Wyłączeniu synchronizacji zapisów gry pozwala uniknąć większości problemów z psuciem się zapisów - Fallout 2 jest pozbawiony DRM, także dla grania na dwóch komputerach na zmianę wrzuciłem po prostu grę do folderu w chmurze i problem z uszkodzonymi saveami nie powracał.

My advice: Do not rush through this game. I did manage to beat it after having very speech which helped ALOT. But please explore the game first before doing the ending. I think this game is interesting, once again similar to Fallout 1. Pretty good game and definitely a great introduction to the Enclave.
