Fallout® 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed game that took RPG'ing out of the dungeons and into a dynamic, apocalyptic retro-future. It's been 80 long years since your ancestors trod across the wastelands.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I love this game, and it holds a special place in my heart. “Welcome to Camp Navarro. So, you’re the new replacement... You are out of uniform, soldier! Where is your power armor? Don’t have any? You expect me to believe that, maggot? The truth is you lost an expensive piece of army-issue equipment. That suit is going to come out of your pay, and you will remain in this man’s army until you are five hundred and ten years old, which is the number of years it will take for you to pay for a Mark II Powered Combat Armor you have lost! Report to the armory and have a new suit issued to you, then report back to me, private! Dismissed!”
a fantastic follow up to the first game! a must play

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Still holds up! it's showing its age but that doesn't mean it's not an incredible game. If you liked fallout 1 then this is just the same but bigger. A brilliant rpg that was a lot more accessible than others at the time, this is much simpler than a lot of dnd based titles. Fantastic atmosphere, music, dialogue and artwork. unfortunately full of balancing issues so it's worth doing some reading on what skills and items are actually valuable and which aren't because you don't want to spend hours and hours building a weak character that can't kill the end boss. Highly recommended to anybody not put off by a game being nearly 30 years old. This was my first time playing it on steam deck and it worked perfectly.
This game sets down half of Fallout's identity. It is overloaded with memorable areas. It does feel rushed and I generally prefer the first game, but there's so much to see and do in northern California that I keep coming back, between a massive arsenal, regional power politics, and the infamous Enclave. I especially dislike like how lolrandom it is, with talking animals, too many pop culture references, and sex jokes. It's still better than Fallout 3 though.
I gambled my life away and prevented a race war. How did I get here again? OH ♥♥♥♥, THE TRIBE!
This is really good. It's like Fallout 1 but pretty much improved and polished in every aspect. It's longer, the pacing is better, balance is better, more and better quests, better story. I think this and Fallout 1 still play pretty well (Fallout 1 can still hold its own a bit with Et Tu).
Fantasticer game.
