Reviews
game was okay, VERY overpriced, huge lack of content (completed the game in like 20 hours?) and now they are taking away multiplayer and future updates..... not worth buying at all, i regret it.
I was very underwhelmed and disappointed with the dialogue. This game is extremely overpriced and has such basic and forgettable characters with very generic and boring cutscenes. I regret getting this game and putting any time in it.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I stopped about 2/3 through the base game story I believe. The boring-ness of the progression was too much for even me. It's a loop of putting machines on to make stuff and progressing the current dungeon/mine. Back and forth over and over. I can't tell you the name of a single character off the top of my head. They're all forgettable. If someone's excuse for this thing is that it's an introduction to farming sims for children, my counter is that I rather give a kid a DS with Harvest Moon DS on it. I'd rather go back to AC:NH than pick this back up cause it's about the same in terms of gameplay loop. At least I can name the NPCs in that game. If the other excuse is that it's better with co-op, then either make the single player better or be co-op only. I can't imagine how multiple people makes this better. I'd rather go play Minecraft at that point.
Love this game, loved playing it with my partner as a happy little after work game, now that they're taking away multiplayer, there's no point in us playing it, major regret with buying it :( Would like to know why Phoenix Labs couldn't have future proofed and made a lan functionality.
Cute - Easy to Play lil Game

A Review w tips / and maybe some spoilers
Time on record at time of review - 14 hrs
Game Type - Cozy Game / Farming Sim / Mats Gathering / Decorating
Bought game during the 2025 Winter Sale
Overall Thoughts : A cute, no guess work, Simple, laid-back, easy to play kind of game with Online cross-platform Multiplayer function. Honestly the easiest laid back Cozy game I have ever played. NOTE : I wanted to review this game as it seems to be getting a bad wrap in the reviews. In doing so I will address a few Concerns that were posted.
Addressing Concerns from other Reviews
===== Multiplayer ?!? It Does Work !!! ===== AND Cross Platform works too <3 Online Co-Op is alive and well - they had made an announcement Back in Sept 29 2025 that the servers are still up and running. I played just today with 2 other players. One who plays on the Switch and another from the UK (as I reside in the US). I was Game Host : I play on the PC and have a very strong internet connection. I connected with them using the Multiplayer function built right in to the game itself, we had No connection issues for 8 hrs straight & no Lag. TIPS : How to do Online in game (on PC) - press ESC - to open the Main Menu and select Multiplayer. Then you can invite players into your online game. Quote from Devs " The public servers will remain online and even as the game transfers to Gambit, there will be no downtime. You’ll be able to keep exploring Azoria together with friends without interruption. - Stay tuned for updates very soon and in the meantime, thank you for believing in Fae Farm. Together, we’ll keep the fairy lights shining." Here is a Link to The Announcement ===== Bugs ?? ===== I have not ran into one yet. Me and my crew (connected via online) Had plowed through getting to the 25th Level of the Mines and are currently working on the Water Wonder Quest. So far no bugs and no hang ups. I will update this review as we progress. They must of done an update. ===== Name Options : It matches your Account Name ===== Now I did not connect online right away. Nor did I make my "account" right away. I went straight in to Gameplay mode. Whatever name you have on STEAM is what your Character's will be in Game (at least that is what happened to me.) HOWEVER !! Once I made my "account" for Online Play - It defaulted to the name I choose for myself on the "account". ===== The Grind ?? ===== What game doesn't have grinding in it ? Yes, You will have to run around gathering mats for : things to sell, things to make, upgrades, food, etc. Just like every game out there TBH. But it can be oh so fun doing these tasks through the Multiplayer option (and quicker too)
=== My Likes ===

Enjoyable Character Customization : The huge HUGE array of colors you can choose from : I made mine have Purple skintone, to look Like a Drow with Red Hair and heterochromia eyes. I just wish i could get pointy ears. - 4 Body types : from Skinny - to Beefy. - 32 Hairstyles (5 are wraps) - 8 Facial Hair - 19 Facial Details (w color options) - 7 Voice options (including silent)
Art Style - Super Supah Cute
Foraging, fishing, cooking, gardening, mechanics : is a no brain super easy mechanics all the way around. Alot of it is just point and click or a press of a button - dependent on how you play)
No Penalties for staying up late in into the night (that I can tell)
No Fall Damage
Inventory is shared among the players through the use of the Shed (and Shed inventory can be accessed by all the Crafting tables)
Players visiting will be on the same Story Quests Together - and Players can turn in Quests and work together to get them done - Personal Friendship Quests are done by each individual player.
There are motion emotes in the game
Making an "account" was super easy - I just made mine right in-game

===== What Players may find Disappointing

When you join another game - it seems you will have to make/design a character. However you will sync up to where the host is in the game's Story Quest. But You will still have to do your tools upgrades (hopefully your host will have some spare bars in the Shed and Currency to help you with that.)
Your Game Name (IGN) will match your Account Name (for me this is a non issue bc i use the same IGN always, but i can see it being a problem for some)
NPS Characters ? - I don't have an opinion on them yet, some player reviews don't like them - But I think that are just fine - i will update as I get more into discovering the NPC's

==== Conclusion : My Thoughts and 2 cents
- It seems like the game is going thru some growing pains as it transitions from one company to the next. I think it just needs a lil Love and Patience, As it has only been 3 months since the last announcement. I just hope that the new Devs don't see the reviews as a lost cause for this game. (Note : I do not own the expansions on this game yet, But I will update this review once I get to that section)
Bait and switch; they heavily advertised based on their ability to play multiplayer and then suddenly announced they were removing that entire feature and no longer updating the game at all.
I actually enjoyed this game... I know I hadn't played it in a while but to take down multiplayer mode is rude.. Now I can't play it with my husband or friends who played it on the switch.. at least make it peer to peer on steam hosting :/...sigh back to single player games...Oh wait
I'll have to sink more hours in, but so far, 6 or so hours in, it is nothing but fetch quests. And yet, I feel so directionless. What am I supposed to be doing? I haven't done enough fetch quests to unlock doing anything interesting, so I feel bored and trapped. Not fun. I can see how the decorating and flower breeding aspects I hear about might be exciting, but I am still locked out of that 6 hours in. I just can't motivate myself to play something that feels so boring when there are more exciting options out there. I really, really wanted to like this game; so much so, that I preemptively bought it with DLC. Unfortunately, I think I might have wasted a lot of money by doing that.
