Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 5.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
While I prefer the old graphics, I enjoy a fresh coat of paint and a nostolgic walk through Albion. The controls feel VERY dated but if you can overcome that hurdle, the game retains a lot of it's original charm from back in the day.
Fantasy games are great, especially this one

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is one of those remasters that doesn't really do much, but that's fine. It's fable on PC, made to work on modern hardware, with a few quality of life features. If you liked the original, you'll like the remaster. For anyone who hasn't played Fable before, I think it holds up pretty well with this remaster. Yes, it will still feel like an older RPG, but if you're anything like myself, and have a fondness for retro games and are willing to put up with some jank, this is a very good title. Fable is a very classic fantasy game, so much so that I can only describe it as cosy, despite having darker aspects to it. Fable also doesn't take itself too seriously, never has with any of the games in the series. It's kind of like Monty Python's idea of what an epic fantasy tale might be, and I find it very charming. The gameplay itself is also pretty fun, despite being basic, and the game has enough spells and items for you to have an actual character build going on. Morality system is also absolutely hilarious with how quirky it is. For example, divorcing your wife gives you more bad karma than murdering her. What did Lionhead mean by this?
:}
I recently went back and played Fable Anniversary, and honestly… it still holds up way better than I expected. This game really feels like a classic. The whole “your choices matter” system was kind of ahead of its time—being able to go full hero or complete jerk and actually see it affect your character is still super cool. One minute you’re helping villagers, the next you’re kicking chickens across town just because you can (and yeah… I absolutely did that again). The world has this charm to it that a lot of newer games kind of miss. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, but it still pulls you in. The humor lands more often than not, and the characters are weird in a good way. That said, there are a couple hiccups. The combat can feel a little clunky by today’s standards, and some of the quests are pretty basic—like “go here, hit things, come back.” Nothing terrible, just shows its age a bit. But honestly, that’s part of the charm. It reminds you why Fable became such a big deal in the first place. I really wish they’d finally bring Fable II to Steam someday. That game took everything here and made it even better, and it’s kind of wild it’s still stuck where it is. Overall, Fable Anniversary is one of those games that’s easy to recommend. It’s funny, nostalgic, a little janky—but in a lovable way. Definitely a classic.
Fable sucks. I can't wait for the new one.
As good as the original, except better.
Its a classic
"The Most Charming Mid-Life Crisis Simulator Ever Made" It’s 2026, and while we’re all looking forward to the new Fable release, Fable Anniversary remains the ultimate comfort food of the RPG world. It’s a game where you can save the world from ancient evil in the morning and then get kicked out of a tavern for excessive belching by lunch. The Legend of You (and Your Face) The core of Fable is the morality system, and it’s still one of the most satisfying "visual progression" systems in gaming: The Heroic Arc: If you’re a saint, you’ll literally start growing a halo and attracting butterflies. People in towns will applaud when you walk in. The Villainous Path: Keep being a jerk, and you’ll sprout horns, develop glowing red eyes, and watch villagers flee in terror. Physical Consequences: I love that the game tracks everything. Eat too many apple pies? You’ll get fat. Focus purely on Strength? You’ll become an absolute tank of a human. It’s that "numbers go up" satisfaction but reflected directly on your character's model. The Humor & World-Building Albion is a world with a very specific, quirky British wit. It doesn't take itself too seriously: Chicken Kicking & Farting: Where else can you win a trophy for "Chicken Chasing" or use a fart emote to win over a crowd? Demon Doors: These sentient, grumpy stone doors are the ultimate puzzle-check. One might want you to get married in front of it, while another just wants you to get "morbidly obese" before it lets you in. It’s bizarre, funny, and uniquely Fable. Technical Performance in 2026 Rock Solid Stability: Since this is a remaster of a 20-year-old classic, it runs flawlessly on basically any modern PC. It’s lightweight, fast-loading, and perfect for a "low-stress" gaming session. Modernized Controls: The "Anniversary" edition updated the clunky original controls to feel more like Fable 2 and 3, which makes the combat—mixing swords, bows, and "Will" (magic)—feel much smoother. Pros: Infinite Personality: Every NPC has a reaction to you based on your "Renown." Satisfying Customization: From buying houses and renting them out to choosing your tattoos and hairstyles. High Replayability: You almost have to play it twice—once as a saint and once as a total menace. Cons: Corridor World: The maps are small and separated by loading screens (a relic of 2004), which can feel a bit restrictive compared to modern open worlds like Enshrouded or Cyberpunk. Scary Faces: Some of the character models in this specific remaster can look a little... "uncanny valley" up close. Final Verdict If you want a relaxing, funny RPG that lets you be exactly the kind of Hero (or Villain) you want to be, Fable Anniversary is a must-play. It’s the perfect break from more "sweaty" games like Apex. 10/10 - Would chase chickens again.
Super fun and simple game, Gonna play the whole series now
