Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 5.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I would of given this game a positive review in the past as I had, had no problems with it, however for some reason; I have picked the game back up again and it won't stop crashing now. So bad to the point where I have to switch my computer off and back on again because it won't let me tab out of the game. I have had to restart my computer so many times and the game will not stop crashing. I've had about 10 crashes in the one day. Other than the frustrating crashes, I would of recommended this game. Fable is an awesome and very fun game. It's just a shame about the crashes.
This is a major classic and I cannot wait for the new game to come out in 27. Immersive with moral options and many side quests to conquer. Its been decades and I still boot this up to have a bit of nostalgic fun.
alt, aber noch immer ein richtiger Rollenspielbörner :)
awesome game
This is a game for 7-year olds or those who played it when they were 7 years old and are now filled with nostalgia. Although, when I look at the chidren's book graphics, the insipid writing and the revoltingly shallow moral system, I'm led to wonder if it wasn't also made by a bunch of 7-year olds. This does not mean that I disrespect the young. After all, I am a grandfather, and as such I know very well that there are media - books, movies, games - created for children that everybody can enjoy and have fun with, no matter their age. Personally, I am a big fan of Minecraft and Stardew Valley, for instance. But when it comes to the level of sophistication, Fable the game has nothing in common with the likes of Charles Dickens, Lewis Carrol or J.R.R. Tolkien. It is more in a line with the Teletubbies and the Gruffalo. Which, for me, makes it utterly unenjoyable. I shall try to get a refund. And the new Fable game coming out next year, since it is more or less a modernized remake of the Anniversary, has already found a place on my ignore list.
Overall great game. At the time of its release it was groundbreaking and unique. The story line is engaging and interesting with decent pacing. By far my favorite of the franchise, I do hope that the sequels one day make their way to STEAM. I am glad for the stroll down memory lane, i enjoyed the revisit almost as much as i did playing the first time all those years ago.
Really hideous game, completely butchers the stylized visuals of the original. But if you want to play at high resolutions without squinting to see the UI, this is the less annoying experience.
