Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 5.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have Fable III on Xbox 360 and played that game through several times and enjoyed the hell out of it. When I heard they were remaking Fable as Fable Anniversary on PC I figured this would be great as it's highly rated. I must be the one off, because so far I really hate this game. First off no matter what I do I can't seem to get the game to actually recognize that I want to play the Heroic difficulty even though that's what I always select. Supposedly the first two slots are slaved to “Chicken Chaser” and you have to pick the third slot. Seriously WTF?!! In addition the camera angles when running around coupled with the blur and how the game is rendered gives me motion sickness, and I’m not prone to that. I went through and did all of the suggestions in the .ini files to alleviate this and it did help, but I can only play this game for so long before feeling like I’m about to puke my guts out. I have never in my entire life of almost 50 years ever encountered any other video game where I’ve had this reaction. The UI is not intuitive and I still haven’t figured out how to sell my crappy gear to the shopkeeper in the Hero’s Guild since I got upgraded versions for getting A+ in the tests. I have read certain shopkeepers only buy certain items, no idea if this case with this shopkeeper or if it is a user issue, but either way it sucks. Fable III is a great game that I very much enjoy, this steaming pile of a turd doesn’t translate well to PC and is garbage IMHO.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Did my first playthrough (I have no ties to the nostalgia of the game), and I can say that the game is worth putting time into. The visuals obviously show their age, but there is a clunky charm to it. The fighting mechanics are equally as clunky and basic, so it was pretty easy to beat the game. The magic and potion options were really the meat and potatoes for me personally during my journey. The main part of the game had layers of character substance and lots of opportunities to bring more life to the experience! You can buy/rent out properties, have relationships, deal with family dynamics, choose outfits/accessories, weapons, and ultimately choose your "destiny". There are lots of other games that have those options and more now-a-days with better graphics, but during Fable's prime... I can see how it exploded with popularly for future game inspirations. If you like a good story, then this game is for you!
Aah yes, this is the game I played in my childhood, good times. Hasnt changed, and is still fun to play!
its ok, 3/5. I actually enjoyed the game, despite it being weirdly scripted and boxed in like a kids game. The content is certainly not for young kids though. Its a mostly linear walkthrough and the story is mostly generic fantasy tropes but I did not have high expectations to begin with. For its time period I bet it was a classic. I just wanted to play something that felt like zelda without having to buy the whole nintendo platform, and this sort of scratched that itch for a few days. I have a feeling you needed to play this game in the days it came out to enjoy it though, it doesnt stack well against modern console (A) RPGs.
El mejor juego de la historia.
its kinda fun
Still holds up. Fable Anniversary has that perfect mix of goofy charm, combat, characters, and a world that wants to be explored.
My first game that I beat on PC from switching from a PS5 Pro and I can say I enjoyed every minute of it. I had played this game on 360, but on PC it felt like a whole new game, even with the outdated graphics. Oh and speaking about graphics, not sure if its my GPU or what but this game has Ray Tracing? IDK, the game looked toooooo d@mn good. I'm also a trophy/achievement hunter and for some odd reason, it felt good not getting all the achievement for this game, even though I am missing 1, lol. Definitely a 10/10.
