Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 5.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

good old Fable. i bet will still be better than the new reboot they working on.
Fable Anniversary is, in my opinion, the second best game of the saga, constantly fighting for that spot with Fable 2. Both are great, but Anniversary has something special that still makes it worth playing today. The game has a unique charm that very few RPGs manage to replicate. The world feels magical, funny, and full of personality. Even if it’s an older game, it has a style and atmosphere that makes it stand out from modern RPGs. What makes Fable Anniversary so good is how simple but satisfying everything feels: progression, exploration, quests, and the classic “hero vs evil” choices. It’s not the deepest RPG ever made, but it’s one of the most enjoyable and memorable ones. And honestly, it’s pure nostalgia done right. The remaster improves the visuals while keeping the original soul of the game intact. If you like classic RPGs with humor, charm, and a unique fantasy world, this is still a must-play.
no wonder this is regarded as one of the most fleshed out rpg's ever.. You have a honor system, Evil: civilians will be scared of you, calling you names and will generally hate you, being evil even changes ur appearance Good: you get blonde hair and blue eyes, a halo on top of ur head and butterfly's that surround you + everyone loves you There is an attractiveness mechanic - if you change to a different haircut/beard you can literally see how attractive you will be and how threatening you will become, you can even get tattoo's to become threatening Combat is pretty easy but some enemies have to hit you once aaaaaand then you will be stunned... which can be irritating sometimes Story is simple yet really good, there are quests for an evil playtrough and a good playtrough!! Armor's are great, some quests are funny and overall movement isnt clunky One of the best and most fleshed out rpg's i've ever played
10/10
I love the Fable series and so going back to where it all began was really important to me. When I younger I played Fable 2 and 3 religiously so much to the point that I did my first all nighter over Fable 3. Yet I never played this first one. I loved seeing the differences in this game and where the developers thought to improve matters like the digging (having a dog help guide you), having a gold trail because some NPCs can be hard to find and moving from a semi 1st person perspective to a third person allowing your character to more effectively evade attacks which is a bit harder to do in this game. Also removing the guild master. Thank goodness they shot him in a dark alley way because if I have to hear about me being low on health potions again! I also like thinking how in a way the idea of being a hero in Fable is so interesting because it is so Greek in that your renown and deeds in maybe defeating a monster or defending a homstead. You will be known and regarded for those...Good or Evil and still be a hero. You can be an absolute bellend and murder all the villagers in a town for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles and still be a hero, it does take away from what you done but your actions do reflect who you are in a way and your appearance too. That's another things I just adore about this game you can be as good want to be (which is honestly harder because you can't make as much money that way) or just murder people who annoy you and kill them to get rent out their homes. I love doing that and the replaybility speaks for itself. It is just pure fun, doing whatever you want, ocassionally facing some consequences like fines and attempts on your life and doing quests and the like. It's pure wishful fantasy and the magic, combat and challenges are fun too. I do have to say, if there is one thing I am greatful though hasn't stayed is the voice acting. Yeah the voice acting is not the best in this, especially at the start and while they grow on you and in some cases actually improve as the game goes on. It's clear this game was when they really were starting to get their footing and they probably had bugger all money on anything. Cause man I regret leaving some of the NPCs alive especially that one who asked you to make her laugh after she ate a mushroom and her laugh was so grating. Compared that to later games where I was invested in trying to get a lost child back to her parent or feeling bad about a romantic option in Fable 3 where you can steal what is arguably a good character fiance/e. There is a conversation that I really loved between the MC and your new Fiance/e about your choice in breaking up that couple and how it was handled. The ideas are there especially in being good versus evil but the vocal dissonance does not help in properly delivering it and making a compelling case for you to do so. Then again I did far more evil stuff in this game compared to others so maybe it is onto something and maybe it was for the best the MC doesn't talk in this Theresa sounded so strange to probably because Zoë Wanamaker one really emobides the woman who will do what it takes compared to the more waif like version here. Then again this is a younger one but at least she made sense in a way. Some many of the voices sounded so off to me especially the early NPCS, like holy moly thank god they improved on that. But I think Whisper in particular stood out to me like a sore thumb because I think you were meant to feel bad about fighting and maybe killing her. She is meant to be a childhood friends/rival of sorts. But the voice acting just presented her in such an unsympathetic light, not helped that she basically pushes you after you lost your entire family and village. It made the choice to fight her in the arena funny enough easier, not harder because she was not really written as well and the benefits to killing her just was too appealling than leaving her alive. Still minor nitpicks and it's good to see how Fable really grew from this and yet still made a compelling story and game despite all the hiccups along the way. I playing the game I can't wait to replay it.
This is my favorite game of all time.
