Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this game sucks and i hate it

Oh boy, another badge coupon game. While the movement isn't that of a problem once you get used to it. The problem I have with this game is the inconsistency of the background elements. For instance, there are like seven spikes on the ground and only two of them will hurt you. Sometimes, some of the dangerous background elements would not hurt you but once you collect everything they would hurt you once you touch them even tho there is no any visual indications that the change is made which results in many unnecessary deaths.

JUEGO TROLASO ASQUEROSOOOOO, POR FIN
Expelled is a small but striking indie platformer that throws players into a bleak sci-fi universe where survival is the only currency that matters. You inhabit the role of a rabbit-like protagonist who begins the game in captivity, forced into a brutal contract: travel to hostile planets, complete dangerous missions, and perhaps earn freedom as a reward. This premise gives the game a surprising sense of urgency. Beneath its pixelated exterior lies a story about desperation, coercion, and the faint hope of reunion with family — a setup that adds emotional weight to each risky jump and enemy encounter. While the narrative is never the driving force of the experience, the context elevates what could have been a standard platformer into something with a harsher, more oppressive tone. Gameplay is built around tight, often unforgiving 2D platforming. Expelled demands precision, patience, and a willingness to repeat difficult sections until you master them. Each level places you in environments filled with traps, spikes, unpredictable enemies, and hazardous terrain, all designed to punish missteps. Some missions require eliminating specific threats, others emphasize navigating intricate layouts, and many blend both at a rapid pace. Part of the game’s identity stems from this constant tension — you never feel safe, and even small mistakes can force a restart. This makes victory more satisfying but also raises the frustration level for players unused to tougher indie platformers. The difficulty feels deliberate, shaping the game into a test of reflexes and persistence rather than a relaxed adventure. The pixel art style enhances the atmosphere, giving the alien landscapes a grimy, barren quality that contradicts the otherwise whimsical idea of a rabbit protagonist. This contrast creates a unique tone where the world feels harsh and unwelcoming despite its simple visual presentation. The minimalistic approach to graphics works in the game’s favor, especially since it allows it to run smoothly on nearly any PC. There is a retro charm to the environments, enemies, and animations, but the tone remains distinctly darker than most platformers that use a similar art style. It strikes a balance between nostalgic simplicity and bleak sci-fi mood, adding personality to worlds that would otherwise be simple obstacle courses. However, the game’s strengths also frame its weaknesses. Expelled’s difficulty, while appealing to fans of challenging platformers, may alienate players who want a gentler, more forgiving experience. The level design often demands repeated attempts, and without much narrative development to break up the strain, the repetition can become tiring. The story serves mostly as a functional framing device rather than a deeply explored journey, and those looking for rich worldbuilding, character interaction, or emotional storytelling will find these aspects secondary at best. It is a game driven overwhelmingly by mechanics, leaving narrative potential largely unexplored. Another factor shaping its reception is its indie nature. With modest production values and limited polish, some aspects can feel rough, from occasional level flow issues to the learning curve that spikes faster than expected. Still, these imperfections are balanced by a sense of sincerity — the game’s ambition is apparent, even if not fully refined. It is crafted for players who appreciate difficult platforming challenges, retro aesthetics, and a certain rawness that comes from small-team development rather than corporate shaping. In the end, Expelled stands as a distinctive platformer that thrives on tension and challenge. Its combination of grim sci-fi themes, harsh planetary missions, and demanding gameplay creates an experience that will resonate with players who enjoy punishing platformers with a unique tone. It is not designed to appeal to everyone, and it does not try to. Instead, it offers a concentrated, intense journey through hostile alien worlds, rewarding perseverance while continually testing the player’s skill. For those willing to push through its demanding levels, Expelled delivers a rewarding and memorable challenge; for others, it may feel too unforgiving or minimalistic. Rating: 5/10
