Reviews
I thought this was gonna be a game where the story is mediocre and its fine because the gameplay is super good, but most levels were underwhelming. I felt like I was being teased with how much fun I could have had if the levels had more satisfying designs (like coronides/sojournus)

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cool idea, nice visual effects - not bad, per se. I'm giving a negative review because I simply didn't enjoy it - It felt like a chore. Perhaps part of the problem is the gloom and doom vibes, everything feels sad for some reason. To be fair, if you watch the trailer video that is what you are getting, but I suppose it wouldn't have hurt to introduce some more joyous music or encounters at some point in the game. I haven't reached the end yet and will likely try to later just for the sake of completing it, but I can't say I am looking forward to it.
i'm not really certain what's going on but it sure is cool
Fabulous little game. It takes the casual, atmospheric nature of a walking simulator and pairs it with simple but incredibly satisfying physics movement system. Environments are lovely, the soundtrack is perfect, and the story is just enough to contextualize everything. It's short, but definitely worth 2-3 playthroughs; mastering the movement mechanics and coming back for a second run is very satisfying. Set aside 2-3 hours on a quiet evening and just enjoy it, worth every penny.
At the price point the game is at I don't recommend it. If you buy it now, for 4.94€, I'd say it's worth it. The game has a little over 2 hours worth of content. Just enough to not be able to refund it. It's definitely not worth 16.49€. Yes, the movement is really good and satisfying, but considering that's pretty much it (and the music is good). I can't recommend it. The game's story exists. That's about all I can say. The texts that appear on the screen were pretty fast, and I thought the voice acting would eventually have a clear understandable tone, but it was always just unintelligible sounds.
More of an experience than a game. But what an experience!
Exo One is a unique game and truly deserves to be called an experience. For me, the physics-based controls were quite challenging at first — without prior experience they take some practice. But as you get the hang of them, the enjoyment grows. The immersive journey takes you across ten impressive planets with breathtaking landscapes, finely tuned sound effects, and perfectly matched music. You build up high speeds, sometimes even flying and gliding at supersonic velocity — it feels dynamic, yet calm over long distances. It can be relaxing, but it also offers a satisfying playground for speedrunners.
