Really like this game. It has funny characters, and nice and easy gameplay. I recommend this game to those gamers who like to play a more relaxed game. --- --- --- Edited to add: I have now finished the game, and it was very enjoyable, but the ending was very very abrupt. The least that could have been done was talking to the person in the room (won't give away who so as not to spoil it for others) instead of just cutting the game off after the last boss fight. That was very badly done. Another thing: I cannot find this game by itself on Steam. It's not even in the list of games when I search under "Brewsterland". The game only comes up when I click on the info for the "Brewsterland JRPG Bundle". I am sure other gamers might like to have a go at this game, but if they can't see it, they won't know that it exists.
RPG Maker strikes again! Existential Kitty Cat RPG is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. Like most RPG Maker shovelware and asset flips, the game features extremely low quality copy + pasted 2D retro pixel art, looks awful, and has even worse gameplay. RPG Maker is an absolutely terrible construction kit, and never results in games of any reasonable quality or value to gamers. It seems like the "developer" here is a serial offender and has dumped over a dozen of these phoned in RPG Maker asset flips, minimal effort stuff, with lazy map designs, bad encounter designs, basically everything done with RPG Maker assets and stock character image creators, and completely terrible, elementary schoolchild tier writing. This is no exception, as the developer claims it's a ripoff of Jim Davis's famous Garfield character, but has nothing to do with it. It's full of peurile pre-pubsescent schoolyard humour, the type children get up to when they realise there's no adults around to punish them for being vile. It makes one wonder about the mental state of the "developer" of this garbage, but then you see just how much trash they've dumped on Steam, it just makes things worse. Toying around with RPG Maker for about 3 hours doesn't make someone a real game developer, and I question how it's good for gamers to permit so many of these RPG Maker asset flips onto Steam when they have no real value as a video game. It's worth pointing out if you really do want to play RPG Maker garbage, there's literally hundreds of completely free RPG Maker asset flips on Steam, all better than this paid product. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Existential Kitty Cat RPG is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. Gamers who want a good retro JRPG experience would be better off playing the originals, like Final Fantasy, Star Ocean or Chrono Trigger. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.

Kittycat game make brown milk pain go away
This is an interesting little game. By little, I mean it's very short. I beat the entire game in about 7 hours (I was continuously stopping to do other things - this was not 'non-stop' gameplay). It is an interesting turn-based RPG. It's got some incredibly funny dialogue and characters. I'd play this again at some point.
Alright this game... is actually not that bad. There is no mode selection, but it wasn't too hard and not too easy. They did put different tactics on combat, if you wanted that slight extra damage. Humor in the game is a bit childish/juvenile... however... it has a weird sense of fun to it, so it surprises you, then you go tell the funny to your friend and your friend laughs, explaining to you why it is funny. You don't really have to grind for anything... I don't think there are any secret pathways... I thought some of the items were named weirdly, in a fun way. What was missing was the backstories and stories for almost every single character... Even the bad guy! So you play through the entirety of game and have sooooo many questions! When I got to the ending area: I was surprised. I usually hold onto my high level potions and stuff for a tough fight... Then I forget to use them, but that wasn't the game's fault. Anyway: the most annoying enemy are the "pixies"... and once you get through an ending area, there is no one else to fight. You'd think the area will be more guarded, or did they send off everyone? (See, more questions!) Oh I know one of the characters is named a word for behind, but I call him "Dogger". He supposedly yaps a lot, but he never talked once and I like what he did to the wall in the cave. You can also pick from four classes. I had an instinct to go with "Assassin", but according to other games... That class is the hardest one to play! After I suffered with the mage, I decided to just try it. Beat the entire game with him! Excellent... Best damage dealer ever (but this is for me, I am not saying it will be the same for you. The class has good crit chances). Overall: I don't hate it and I don't really superbly enjoy it. But I wasn't bored, I wasn't annoyed at the difficulty and I wanted to see the story through... The final message box was funny... In a way. So thank you for the game I got 5 Hours+ out of! :D :) =)
Tragedia!!.
I found out about this game through a random discount coupon. I looked a lot into it, the reviews it had and all, I didn't really expect it to be super amazing. Yet I just felt like trying it out. But considering it's very low price and the fact that it's an RPG-maker game it was really enjoyable for me. Yes, it does have grammar issues sometimes. Yes, the item descriptions aren't always fully explaining what they do. And and and... you shouldn't expect a perfect game for a Dollar after all. All in all I think it's a quirky little game which has about 3-5 hours of gameplay to offer(when you explore every little thing and the many hidden items), with it's many cat jokes(like for real..many), odd looking and sounding enemies and weird ability names. So if you are up for bad cat jokes and a super weird storyline in a turn-based RPG for very little money, I would recommend checking it out. If you don't like it you can still refund it after all. P.S. one small thing that bothered me is that apparently the steam overlay/screenshots don't work. Just so that you don't cry afterwards that it doesn't work for you. :)
Not really the proudest purchase I made, ended up refunding it. Guess my curiosity wasn't the best here with this. The dialouge and situations I made it through in the game was kind of weird and unappealing. Get it if you want, but I wouldn't recommened it.
Basic game made with RPG maker, you cannot remap controls, you cannot change the characters names. They claim they are cats, but one of them is just a guy with cat ears, the other doesn't even have that going for him... This is just terrible. I was expecting a poorly made JRPG where you play as cats, but this game isn't even that. Don't buy this. Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImDpR5LAER8 If you buy this, good luck enjoying yourself. If you don't buy this, yeah, don't blame you. Regardless, I hope you have a lovely day! <3
