Evil West

1st hour genuine fun. after that it was absolute mad ♥♥♥♥, enemies were repetitive and all they had for them was being absolutely buffed so that it will take you almost 10 minutes to deal with them. story is uninteresting and slightly racist, i have a high tolerance for racist jokes and dark humor but the delivery of the jokes are kinda forced, some maps looks good some maps looks sloppy, quite alot of bugs and unpolished gameplay. no clue if they do regular bugfixes but honestly if you pay $9 like me id get it just to play once or twice with someone else. besides that i cannot justify this game to be more than a $10. honestly it looks like some animations that are coppied from other games. the animations are verymuch recycled and bland. the beat-em-up aspect is genuinely fun ngl BUT if i had to rate this game for a $9 ill give it a 6.5/10. for a WHOPPING $40!! noway jose id give it a 1.5/10 its very much a once or twice kind of game non repeating gameplay at all.

Franchement j’ai été déçu par Evil West. Le jeu a une bonne ambiance et les combats peuvent être fun au début, mais ça devient vite répétitif. Les ennemis reviennent souvent pareil et l’histoire ne m’a pas vraiment marqué. Les déplacements sont assez rigides et certains passages donnent l’impression d’être dans un vieux jeu d’action. Il reste quelques bons moments grâce au style western/fantastique et aux armes, mais pour moi ça ne suffit pas. Note : 2/5

Buen juego a pesar de ser una ida de olla del oeste con vampiros, hombres lobo y demás. Bastante entretenido y combates con muchas posibilidades, aunque algunas misiones se hacen un poco largas.

After playing through this game on Hard in a co-op playthrough, i can say the game has its uniqueness. It was a fun game for sure, but the bad out weighs the good on this one. The game does not seem like it was made to be a multiplayer game. Combat is wonky when facing the same enemy, the need to be 1 cm behind the other player to make a tiny jump only to have to make the jump back because there was only a lever over there. The last half of the game it seemed like they just gave up on it. Overall the game is fun, has a lot of good ideas, but the execution behind it has a bit of room for improvement.

Jogo bonito, mas não me prendeu. Achei uma historia meia boca, o que salva mesmo é o gráfico e a jogabilidade, é satisfatório sim. Mas a narrativa é muito obvia, perdendo o interesse com facilidade, e olha que amo jogos focados em trama. A jogatina em si é boa, mas as batalhas acabaram ficando repetitivas e fáceis de serem lidas, principalmente o boss, que o que era pra ser a fase mais difícil, não passou de ser só mais uma qualquer. Bom, se vc procura um jogo com ataques satisfatórios, mas sem narrativa imersiva, é recomendável sim. Jogo bom em promo, mas não acho que vale 35.98, no máximo 25.

Evil West is a 3rd person action story that hits you hard and keeps on swinging. The combat is the main focus here and by the end of the game you are wielding an entire arsenal of weapons against EVIL. The story will set up the combat encounters, and while predictable, it has a handful of characters for you to grab on to. This game is an on rails experience that takes you from one all out brawl to the next with some loot crates and upgrades to discover along the way. There is no open world, but you will always be rewarded for straying off the main path. Plus, you get to smash chests open with your cool machine fist! Between fights you'll watch some story cutscenes, and upgrade your gear. As the story progresses your gear can get pretty crazy and really pushes the science/logic boundaries of the 1800's setting. By endgame there are so many weapons and upgrades that you can choose how you want to fight. In my eyes the game's main shortcoming is enemy variety. The game plays all of it's cards very early, showing you all the elites within the first handful of hours. You then have to fight those same elites in different combinations for the rest of the game. There are a few bosses who add late game diversity, real challenge, and a satisfying end to the story. I do not recommend this game at full price. But if you can catch it on sale (-80%, $9.99 at time of review) I highly recommend it!
