Well it's been sitting in my libary for a long time. The first encounter was brief and another game stole it's spotlight for my time and attention. However as most newly developed games fall short in so many ways due to the lack of gameplay or as the critical drinker might say "the message". I decided to give Everspace 2 a try.. I decided to forego the HOTAS setup for a try out and binded my keys. This worked quite well however the F key if rebinded and binded along side the game still only accepts the F key all other key settings.. beautifull done! as it should.. And before i knew it i was fighting other ships and quickly learned that some drones always take up station up your six and adjusted my space craft fighting. The atmosphere and story drew me in with the strong gameplay and now i'm 40 hours down the line and I think i only scratched the surface of the game. I'm having fun figuring out the balance of weapons, shields, what to upgrade.. what to create. I play on an old machine W10 with a GTX960strix it runs quite smooth and everything looks nice. The scenes that tell the story are also nice as they use a similar kind of drawing movies i'm used to with battletech another great game with a nice narrated story. If you like sci-fi and sci-fi space ships shooters with a nice story line then this may be something for you. check out some ytbe vids and it will give you a better idea than me writing about it. For me I would say this game hits a 9/10 overall as I'm having fun and enjoy the gameplay and story!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Кусок кривого кода. Постоянные вылеты с критическими ошибками. А разрабы дегроды не могут систему сохранения нормальную сделать. В итоге чуть ли не весь прогресс локации нужно каждый раз проходить заново.
I wish I could reccomend EVERSPACE 2. I really do. I'm a sucker for all things Sci-fi, and the art direction and ship models dragged me in initially, but EVERSPACE suffers a major design flaw that I just cant get over. I don't mind the floaty combat, I like the customisation of devices, the ships -while samey in design- function differently enough that I enjoyed trying out the different types, but the thirty seconds to minute and a half long loading screens between every single piece of content means I am putting the game down forever. You will spend 5-10 minutes inside an arena, doing the mission, fighting, what have you, but then to fly anywhere else through the system takes so long I just can't stand it. No Man's Sky does something simillar with the flight between planets, but there i'm spending upwards of 40 minutes on a planet exploring, harvesting resources, visiting POI's that I dont mind the 45 seconds it takes to get to another planet. But when EVERSPACE askes me to spend 15-20% of my gametime in a hands off cutscene of travel, I just feel insulted. Unfortuately this is a fundimental flaw with how the game is designed, and no new content will ever fix it for me. Missions are too short, and the time between them far too long to ever be worth my time.
they have a free demo if you are not sure. its a good looter shooter, there is a bit too many puzzles to solve to get some of the loot and a lot of searching around for the puzzles but you do get some better upgrades for your weapons and ship after completing the puzzles. there is a perk that you get later in the game that helps you to find the loot but I wish they made that available earlier in the game
Has both fast-paced action and a good story line. Earning credits to upgrade your ship's capabilities is a very important part of the game - making side quests essential to success.
The space combat is fun but the travelling is so mind numbingly boring. Why did they make the galaxies so large without filling them with anything meaningful other than the occasional dialogue between characters? To add to this, the gear progression is tediously slow.
has plenty of content to do and if you want even more than the DLC are good also. Can get 1 hour per $ spent if you want to find everything at all locations. Has the infinite rifts to do also if you want to keep looking for that better loot
The space ship game difficult is not rising but reaching the maximum just simply on the begin of the game, personal turning to lower difficult to process the whole game, this game are like no man sky simple version.
+++ Very much tickles the exploration/reward itch. +++ Fun and inventive story, set inside a rich world. +++ Visually beautiful environments to admire. +++ Easy to get into, with little in the way of obscure mechanics or gotchas. --- Equipment leveling system sours the sauce. --- Not as daring in design as its predecessors. --- Shallow, unsatisfying combat encounters. This is a thumbs-up that comes with a large asterisk. It is an objectively 'correct' game to play, and its greatest fault is really to try to play it too safe and too mainstream - when the previous title's guts to be different was what had made it attractive in the first place. The upside is that it makes this one more universally accessible, and one's at liberty to explore to their heart's content with no time pressure. The exploration is by far the best aspect thanks to a world strewn with puzzles and little challenges that give out equipment as a reward, although because the equipment has RPG-style levels tied to them, these rewards can quickly feel hollow. It's a game to sit back into, enjoy the story, and scrounge for all the little secrets. That's good enough to carry it across the line.
There's plenty to love about this game, but also plenty to hate. It's ruined for me by god awful back tracking, no fast travel, too many loading screens, genuinely awful music, janky controls. If you really love RPGs and space stuff, you'll probably like it. And there's a lot I do like, but damn there are some really terrible and baffling design choices here. Things I like: - Ship designs are cool - RPG mechanics are solid - Space combat is pretty fun - Runs pretty well - Graphics are pretty good Things I don't like: - Music is genuinely so terrible. turned it off an hour in - Story is mid - Control schemes involve a lot of adjusting on controller - Annoying conversations happening that dont let you dock or give you the next mission so you have to just fly in circles and wait for it to finish with no way to skip - Back tracking SUCKS it's absolutely horrendous and there is a ton of it necessary in game. Your home base is in the first star system and there are a handful of them that open up as the game goes on. If you are in, say the fourth system and need to return to your base, the process is a pain. Starting in the fourth system, you first have to fly into space (loading screen), then in space you have to physically fly to the warp gate for the previous system (loading screen), once at the gate location, you fly over to the gate and activate it and have to wait for like a 20 second startup sequence (loading screen) and you're at the third system. Repeat that process three times to arrive at home base. It takes genuinely like 5 minutes, most of which is loading screens. WHY IS THERE NO FAST TRAVEL. There should be one loading screen between wherever the ♥♥♥♥ I am and my destination. I shouldnt have to fly through every system in between to get anywhere. HEINOUS and FRUSTRATING.
