Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 28 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Your train is your only refuge in an endless frozen world. When you die, another passenger steps forward and takes your place. As long as survivors remain, your journey continues. Rescue trapped passengers scattered in abandoned facilities across Inara and build up your society one survivor at a time.

It's your base, your shelter, and everyone aboard's last chance at survival. Explore the exomoon Inara solo or in co-op with up to 4 players.

Your mission for survival lies above everything. Venture into dangerous locations filled with valuable resources, technology, hidden secrets, and unforgiving battles. But if you explore for too long, you may risk losing everything.

The train's battery recharges while it's moving and drains when it stands still. Every expedition and every decision you make revolves around this single rule. Manage your train's power, maintain its systems, and never let the battery reach zero or your journey ends. Move or freeze.

Conquer Inara by crafting new weapons, armor, tools, gliders, and essential machinery. Expand and upgrade your train as you push farther along the tracks. Attach hundreds of new wagons to increase storage, boost production, and build out your own logistics.

Your glider puts eyes in the sky over the frozen landscape before you ever set foot on it. Scout new locations, harvest rare isotopes for crafting, and identify threats from above by deploying scan drones into the depths of Inara.
Abandoned facilities, deadly anomalies, and survivors waiting to be rescued are scattered across a procedurally generated world that never repeats. Every run brings new routes, new dangers, and new reasons to keep the train running.
The exomoon is called Inara because the community chose that name. The lore exists because players helped us refine it. Throughout Early Access, EverRail is built alongside the players. Features, systems, game balance, and story will continue to evolve based on the community that keeps the train running.

Boringly repetitive gameloop with a train and robots Literally...you move the train to charge it's battery so you last longer in "raids". You can build things on the trains innards and upgrade them or build new gear etc. The "raids" consist of stopping at random points along the track, to fight very dull and easy to kill AI NPC's, while scouring for loot that has no real appeal when gathering. Just collect it, and return to the train...then use said gear to build new things on the train that have no real weight to them at all and feel just as dull as the NPC's. Make sure you add food rations for the "passengers" you never see. This game has great bones to be far better...I was expecting a Snowpiercer like game...but for now it feels dull and boring after a few stops, and I just stopped playing because I literally got bored of the same loop over and over. All that in 20 minutes of gameplay.
It needs a lot of work. Good base, but needs a lot of love. Glider controls are bad. At 20 hours i'm not not 100% ok with the control, with the mouse controlling it that would make it a lot better. Hunger is out of control imo, you do too much eating, it's like a constant thing and it's over the top. Textures are missing when flying around in the glider. So you can see through the world. Texture pop in is an issue as well when flying close to a mountain. I've almost hit the side and tops of mountains due to this in the glider. To many items to craft with some items having too many steps to craft it. I'm all for complexity but it needs to be tonned down a bit. The train cars are not that big, and the crafting machines are too big with the need to build addons next to them means you need a lot of trains cars to build in for every combination of item to caft. it's silly. All in all, i do like the game and it has some cool ideas with the glider and train on the go but i still can't recommend this game until a lot more updates and bug fixes come through.

It crashed 3 times while playing in an hour. Inventory management is clunky. Expeditions are fight, F, R, F, R, F, R, F, R, fight, repeat. You are hungry every 5 minutes, and I ran out of rations on an expedition. You leave the cockpit while the train is racing down the track, and go build stuff...then have to run ALL THE WAY back to the cockpit if you are going too fast for a curve. Change track...TO WHERE? Do we have a destination? Decent skeletal framework, needs more time to bake.
Cool concept....... WAY TOO early to buy... performance alone is horrendous. I hope to see it improve and be fun in a year or two from now.
Initial conception was not bad, but the game is really boring, you need to wait endless time to produce from the machines, also the train is really modular almost zero way to customize it, you just dropping down the big machines which all of them look like same. I tought it will be like Void Train, but no.
Background: I play other crafting/survival games/factory games. TLDR: Fun game, needs some balance and direction to gameplay loop. Not too stressful once you know what you are doing. Initial controls are somewhat of a learning curve but you will get used to it after an hour of playtime. Good for Dads/Moms who need an instant pause button if playing solo. There are bugs, game is EA. I recommend a "buy" today if you have nothing else to do and need a good game for the weekend. I really sank my teeth into this game to give it a proper review. 27 hours played in the last week since purchasing. For solo-players you will be at a bit of a disadvantage but don't let that deter you, majority of my hours are on my solo save. This is definitely a good co-op game... though co-op at the time of this review is a little buggy. You are just a dude (or group of dudes) who drives a train around to survive. You don't just drive a train, you also hop off that train to go get loot. Time is limited though (don't let the time run out). The train charges battery only when it moves. When you are stopped, the clock is ticking. Get off train, go loot POI, get back on train, make train go fast again, craft while train moving, stop train at next POI, repeat. The map is procedural. Pros: - Good gameplay loop - This game is chill, whether solo or co-op. I found more enjoyment with co-op. I like a game where I dont have to be entirely focused 150%. - The pause is actually a pause, this is a good game for Dads/Moms who need to walk away in an instant. Just hit ESC, get the kiddos what they need. - It's nice that the game provides a choice of which weapon/tool/buff to use on your toolbelt as you cannot have all of them equipped at once. - Many different things to craft for the four different tool belts you will have. This game will keep you busy - Procedural map Cons: (at the time of this review only 7/28/26) - Resource and Itemization is still in dire need of balancing - In my solo save only: It is hard to find Rations. - Gathering of Iso (a resource) needs to be buffed. I spent a lot of time in the glider. - You can go forward/reverse in the train but turning around isnt exactly built into the procedural tracks. You'll have to go the long way - Hunger ticks way too fast. Given that rations share the same need for food and crafted items, this makes it a very difficult choice to choose between better gear and staying alive.
Finally, Snowpiercer: the game
