EVEREST VR™

太棒了，从大本营出发途径昆布冰川、希拉里台阶到顶峰，很有意思，体验了一次云登珠峰。 但如果是冲着玩游戏的，不建议买。只要对登山或者户外徒步有兴趣就可以直接入手。

I personally loved this. I don't look at this as a game, more of an experience and educational trip. Once done with the initial expedition up the summit, spend some time in the Seeker section. There's more educational stuff there and audio files from experts. It's very informational. Then if you want some real scale, go to god mode and set the scale to the lowest, actual human size. It's pretty cool. I highly recommend this, especially if you are a fan of or interested in Everest.

Very enjoyable. I'm pretty sure I saw Beck Weathers' nose on the South Col. I'd rate this game 96/96 all day.

Seems to me you can get the same experience in the Google Earth, for less. You just... warp around. Not terribly interesting.

You don't pick this up for a fully fledged game, and I feel that people giving it a thumbs down for that reason are being unfair. I've owned this for a while, but only just had time to get in and experience it. Want to learn a little something about Everest? Want to understand (even to some light degree) what it takes to climb the beast? Or see what it could be like for sunset or sunrise on the summit? This gives you those and more. Take your time, soak it in, and you'll find a lot of joy in the experience.
