About
In this dying age, only pockets of humanity remain. There was no apocalyptic event to speak of; only the cruel march of time and the inexplicable infertility of the world. Accursed creatures stalk the barren lands between settlements, which are themselves terrible places; squalid, medieval and mostly ruled by tyrants.
Our story begins in the town of Draenog, where the theatre performance you are putting on is interrupted by fighting at the gates. Demons have arrived. Your wooden sword will have to do for now, gather the troupe and defend yourselves!
Entropy is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game with an expansive world map, explorable towns filled with colorful characters, and a tactical turn-based battle system.

Simple but intense turn based combat, playing on the recommended difficulty makes what should be a simple fight that much more intense, not wanting to lose any of your party members to permadeath while not knowing what to expect from the next enemy you encounter is great. I enjoyed the final fight of act 1 a lot, I went in with what I thought was more supplies than I'd ever possibly need and nearly lost a couple people. There's no save scumming so don't engage in fights lightly, I came from Dread Delusion and I enjoyed the lore and world building in that game, it seems to retain that quality in this game as well, the characters and world you're thrown head first into feels deep and complex and every character you meet has something new to teach you about the lore and events that have impacted the world. I really like the art direction they went with for the portraits of people you're talking to, and a lot of the camera work when entering a new area reminds me of Ocarina of Time. The soundtrack was also really good. I hope the next act comes soon.
The world is fresh, the gameplay is fun, scratches an itch I didn't know I had. Got semi Softlocked my first attempt, had to restart, but I'm glad I did. Though it's on the shorter side, I am excited for what the next act holds.

It's really fun. Only encountered a few bugs, which were primarily text based. I enjoy a decent challenge and played the game on hard as intended, and the final boss of "Act 1" was a scary increase to difficulty as the enemies prior to the engagement were trivial, although I did grind a little and had a balanced team. Soundtracks is amazing, character portraits are awesome, and gameplay is REALLY fun. I enjoyed the targeting system of certain enemy parts to inflict certain debuffs or even removing the sword-arm of the enemy. In short, this game ROCKS. Can't wait to play more in future updates.
such a great potential cant wait for next updates
I love it! The devs approach to worldbuilding and story is great and super engaging. Combat system is fun, writing is interesting, the art is incredible, I like this so much already. I really like the staging of everything too, the whole being part of a performing troupe thing. Being able to attack specific body parts is fun. I did hire a guy because I thought they looked cute without really putting much thought into the fact that they're missing their right arm which bars them from using most weapons, at least at this stage... but we're making it work. Very excited to see how this progresses. If you liked Dread Delusion, or if you just like turn based RPGs in cool fantasy worlds, I'd definitely recommend this!
It's so good! can't wait for the full release!
im obsessed
Charming, well-written and eerily compelling. Although in early-access, it runs smoothly. Mignola-esque art direction on the portraits, grim-dark but colorful scenery and monsters. All in all, splendid visuals and art design. Combat-system works with quite a few quirks and interesting takes. And now, we wait for Act 2. Patiently... just as Earl E. Aksas recommends.
I don't buy early access games. And this one only has act one. But it's so good and gives such a unique feeling, I wanted to support the devs but dont want to finish it too fast. So I'll play just a bit here and there as a threat.
Great game so far But after Dread Delusion I would give them my money for any new game
