Encased: A Sci-Fi Post-Apocalyptic RPG

Hidden Gem and was on sale for something retarded like $5.

I am a fan of Arcanum, Fallout 1 & 2 and other games like that. So when I heard about this game, I had to give it a try. You get access to hand-to-hand, melee, high tech weapons, light guns and heavy guns AND Psionics. There are also utility skills like Criminal, Tech, Science, Medicine and more. Overall, I really liked the game. I bumped into problems with a particular psionic perk that didn't work right. But I didn't sweat it to much. I would highly recommend it.

Пикник на обочине здорового человека. Первая половина игры отличная, в нее явно разрабы все ресурсы вложили, много интересных побочный квестов. Приятно впечатлила озвучка диалогов в инди-рпг. Ко второй половине, к сожалению, игра становится линейной, локи пустыми. Тем не менее это хорошая и атмосферная игра, разновидность концовок впечатляет. Не вижу причин, чтоб не поддержать русских разрабов.

Yes, good game. I retired from playing doo doo butt ass FPS games to play this game. My wife loves me now, my kids look up to me, and the neighbors want me at their BBQ's. This game is amazing! It checks all the boxes and stopped me from checking my wife. I'm love her more than anything now. Thanks Devs, thanks John McClain, and most importantly, thank you Junkertown for electing me mayor

There's an incredibly frustrating radiation bug that appears midgame. If you don't keep your saves properly organized, you'll end up stuck in a mess of your own making. The bug caused 2 instances of level 3 radiation sickness, permanently draining all my attributes with no way to heal it, even with a med station.

Один из отечественных клонов первых двух Fallout, который не стоит потраченного времени. 1. Дизайн: вспомните все популярные игры в этом сеттинге, смешайте, приправьте творчеством Стругацких - на выходе получится Encased. Не сказать, что тошнотворно, но постоянно ловишь себя на мысли, - А ведь я это уже видел... Спойлер: заметил забавную дырку в логике мира - то у них через Купол не проходит только органика, то в локации "Северная граница Купола" брошенный камень также застывает в воздухе и падает. 2. Боевая система перекочевала без существенных изменений прямиком из Fallout 2, и перекочевала очень плохо: Персонажи не могут атаковать в ближнем бою по диагонали. Бой сводится к затыкиванию самой дешёвой атакой, NPS не реагируют на начавшийся буквально перед глазами бой и т.д. и т.п. 3. Механика скрытности, больше похожая на легальный чит. 4. Сюжет...не могу судить, прошёл только пару миссий. Выглядит всё, опять таки, очень второсортно, избито, но заметил намного меньше тупорылых отсылок, чем в Atom RPG (а это очень большой плюс!) 5. Юмор: местами неплохо, пару раз хмыкнул, но местами сценаристы выдают такой лютый кринж, что желания играть дальше становится намного меньше. Ну и там ещё много до чего можно докопаться. В целом, игра похожа на кашу, сделанную на воде и без соли. Может, найдутся фанаты, готовые закрыть глаза на минусы и насладиться сюжетом, но я не из их числа, увы...

NOT FULLY ENGLISH! If you're playing in another language perhaps you'll be able to play fully, but although this game claims to be available in English, it is not. There are only some things in English, there are still plenty NOT translated. So unless you want to manually translate a lot of the game to try and understand how to play, refrain from purchasing this game. I would love to play this game and may try to purchase it again when it is truly available in English. I just don't know how I would be able to know or trust that they would have it done as they've already lied about it being fully available in English, and the forums say the devs are not responding to the claims, which is a huge red flag. I am willing to be shown it has been fixed and try again and change my review to positive, but until then... fail.
