A tactical sci-fi RPG set in an alternative 1970's, where an enormous and inexplicable artifact –the Dome– is discovered in a remote desert. Fight enemies, explore the anomalous wasteland, level up your character, join one of the forces in the ruined world.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game started out SOOO good and after 45 hours everything fell apart. It was so dispointing how the threads just didnt match up. I really dont want to rate this game badly but they need to actually complete it correctly. Now if your funding withered and died. I completely understand, but you should of communicated this from the start. However, this isnt what happened, I hope one day the devs come back and finish it the right way. And all hail the Ben Brocoli man!

another "classic fallout inspired" rpg, but here player sees AN ABUNDANCE of boring fetch quests, that force you run around the map doing absolutely mundane tasks and looking at loading screen(omg,so fun).
MNÓSTWO treści do czytania
Podziwiam studia, które wkładają sporo serca w swoje gry, dbając o jej warstwę treściową. W grach RPG, szczególnie w rzucie izometrycznym, to absolutna podstawa, bo w ten właśnie sposób opowiadasz historie i budujesz cały przedstawiony świat.
I to tyle.
Okej, więc pominiemy część dialogów i będzie lepiej?
Otóż nie. Nawet jeżeli odpuścimy rozmowy, to w lokacjach mamy setki pojemników, skrzynek, skrytek itd. do przeszukania. Wiele z nich zawiera dosyć dobry sprzęt i wartościowe towary, bez czego będzie nam raczej ciężko.
What a gem. It has its faults to be sure (see other postings), and won't be for everyone, but I managed to pick it up on substantial discount while looking for a turn based combat RPG style game. It's a bit like a simplified 'Lite' version of Fallout 2 but without the crankiness or stability problems and a lot better and user friendly than other post-apocalyptic RPGs I've come across. Character choice will vary or limit some of your game play options, and character development was straightforward, as was crafting items and upgrading weapons. There were some things that I only worked out later in the game so missed opportunities to pick up gear or resources, and if you ignore most of the side quests you may well struggle later in the game. I liked it enough to play it to the exclusion of just about everything else and finish it, so well worth a try if you can pick it up on substantial discount IMHO
korean plz
It's a very slow burning game and it's not the most streamlined experience, but the world is nice and I'm enjoying the atmosphere so far. Combat can be accelerated, which is nice, and it kind of maes me think of if STALKER, Fallout New Vegas, and Divinity Original Sin had a slightly ugly, but perfectly acceptable baby. Also I got it for 3 dollars so there's very little to complain about.
It's probably a 2.4 out of 5... so very close to a thumbs up. I really wanted to like this game. The atmosphere was solid. Level design was interesting. Characters were pretty cool and seemed to be unique. I love the sci fi magic+guns vibe. Combat was turn based and fun. The action point system was done well in this game, providing a lot of different options in combat that felt fresh. All the interesting weapon and skill abilities... . But I gave this a negative review. So let's get to things I didn't like. These are absolutely biased by my preferences. But I know I'm not the only one with preferences. First complaint is loot... dear god. Why is EVERYTHING lootable. I get it, I don't HAVE to loot everything. But when you have a random luck chance for a nice gun to show up in a flower pot... it's hard to not loot everything. I probably spent 70% of my playtime just walking around looting boxes, flower pots, toilets, literally everything... It wasn't even realistic either, because I would literally loot peoples desks while they were sitting at their desk... Or a janitor cart right next to the janitor... . Next issue was the RPG elements. One of my biggest complaints is that you do not level up your allies... Your allies come with a preset build from start to finish. Which wouldn't be AS bad if it wasn't for the fact that there are only like 5 companions in the whole game... And the only early game tank is a violent murderous hobo, so I hope you aren't role playing a good guy too hard if you want a front line in your squad... Because those companions will leave you if you don't make them happy... So building a synergistic squad, one of my favorite aspects of party based RPG's is basically just gone... If I wanted companions that were going to do whatever they wanted anyways, I would just go find a multiplayer game and play with friends/random people... . I had a couple other minor complaints throughout the game. But those were my two big issues. The game felt like a loot simulator... and companions felt extremely restrictive. It just felt like a single player looting game... not a squad based rpg.
I'm conflicted on Encased, but would ultimately recommend it (on a deep discount) and here's why:
+The Good+
+ Premise of the game is great and the first half of the game uses it masterfully. + Lore. + RPG mechanics lifted from the classics of the genre, in both good and the bad. + Combat is good (Which is good since there is so much of it!). Best way to describe it is Wasteland 2 combat but without any of the faults W2 has. + The first half of the game is very good and made me invested enough to finish the game, easily one of the best CRPG experiences + Bugs I encountered (aside from foes) were very minor and went away with a restart, most commonly relating to inventory management and moving items with mouse. + Very good translation
-The Bad-
- Inventory management designed by the Devil himself >:(. A "great" mix of Resident Evil, Wasteland 2 and Fallout - Companions are just damage soaks & DPS multipliers and lack almost any character, playing without companions is hard mode but won't impact the game much - Companions get in the way in tight spaces, often blocking objects you want to use/interact with - Weapon upgrade system doesn't feel good after the first few levels. - Latter half of the game is mainly fetch or courier tasks that require you to memorize where people are, made worse when those people move about on the map wasting time in load screens and wandering about map searching where exactly those people are. Worst one required 10+ loading screen transitions - Tying to previous one: slow movement speed wasting huge amount of time. Doubling or tripling character movement speed with console is recommended. - Skill checks in conversations happen only once requiring savescumming if you failed by small margin and for example smoking a cigarette or reading skill mag would let you pass - Sudden deaths on par with Sierra adventure games. Save often like the loading screen tips say - The ending is disappointing, not bad just disappointment Hopefully the Bad didn't scare you away from this game, even with all that it's worth a play as the genre has so few good entries. Just as a sidenote 99% completion took about 65 hours
Encased is like eating a really heavily spiced food and at the start it tastes amazing, you cant get enough but after the 8th bite it turns into a bland mushy goo, all the same textures all the same characters all the same music all the same areas all the same background noise, abilities, anomalies. I REALLY tried to play this game to its end i really really tried but after hour 20 ish it just unbearably boring, this 87 hours took me several months and i just simply cannot do it anymore this game is boring as sin and im very sad about that because i wanted it to be good.
