Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 17 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I first experience with this game was on my Xbox, and when I noticed it was on sale, I couldn't resist picking it up. If you have a desire to embrace your inner gangster, this game might be exactly what you're after. Although I feel it misses a few key features that could push it into the realm of a truly outstanding strategy game, it still offers a lot of fun. The gameplay is engaging enough to keep you entertained for a few hours, particularly if you manage to get it at a lower price. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone looking to dive into a mobster-themed adventure. The thrill of the game, combined with a good deal, makes it a worthwhile addition to your collection. i really want to love this game but the bugs make it very difficult to do so one minute you're a couple precincts away from winning and the next your save is nowhere to be found or your alcohol supply gets an NaN and you lose most of your income i hope they fix some of these extreme issues

Great to see the new patch and DLC finally released, and love that they upped the difficulty as that was my major issue with the original game. Having great fun with the new boss and his side-kick Silvia.
With a decade's worth of competition behind it, Empire of Sin attempts to copy everyone's homework while trying not to make it too obvious. Players of Omerta and Gangsters will immediately see the similarities, and along with it, every issue that riddled this game's predecessors. Its initial hours are to be praised; With a large cast of unique characters that all come with their own initial story, it's easy to get immersed in your narrative while short-and-sweet alternative missions keep you occupied between the game's progression loop. It only takes your first or second run of this loop, however, to spot just how shallow the ocean is... Its management aspect is almost identical to an idle sim, and its combat variety and difficulty scaling immediately default to more red shirts that take slightly more damage. The Bosses mechanics quickly boil down to traits and bonuses tier-listed into game-breaking or not worth playing at all, only serving to slightly speed up or slow down the monotonous board game format, making anything but smaller, faster playthroughs an unrewarding grind. Your Gangsters, as the ability to hire lackeys or goons is barred for you, and only available to the opposition, try their best to tear you from any semblance of realism; Adamant to bloat the game with horribly inaccurate portrayals and tokenism while swearing they're a hard-researched, deeply historical game. With everything falling short of the mark, the developers attempted to fix, it and soon after abandoned the title. And it's only DLC showing a clear Paradox-style marketing scheme of selling you basic functions for a price tag. And even if they were to continue development, you'd still find more authentic and varied gameplay from a 2001 game than this.
Update? Can it be? future please :)
There's an interesting idea here that never fully comes together. The individual components let it down in ways that the good parts (mob management, logistics of supply) can't overcome. The combat is rarely interesting and takes far too long for what it is (enemies are bullet sponges).
игра очень даже зашла. круто сделана, хотя я не любитель подобного рода игр, но всё таки
ok
The game is fun and good challenge the only downside is i think the DLC's should have been included in the original game at no charge.
the lack of any authentic gang composition instantly takes me out
