Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 17 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I’ve spent more than 20 hours with Empire of Sin, and it’s a game that mixes turn-based tactics, strategy, and role-playing in a very unique way. The setting in Prohibition-era Chicago is a refreshing change compared to most strategy games, and the atmosphere is done really well. Managing rackets, negotiating with rival gangs, and the tactical combat all add layers of depth that kept me engaged for quite a while. That said, the game does start to feel repetitive once you’ve got the basics down. After a while, the missions, negotiations, and combat sequences don’t evolve much, and it can feel like you’re going through the same motions again and again. The price point also feels a little steep considering the repetitiveness and some rough edges in execution. Overall, Empire of Sin is a stylish and ambitious game that I genuinely enjoyed, especially in the early hours. If you love the theme and don’t mind a bit of grind, you’ll likely get some good fun out of it. But if you’re looking for long-term depth and variety, it might leave you wanting more.

Do you love x-com? ✅ Do you love gangster/mafia theme? ✅ Then you might like Empire of Sin! It has slight management, but only slight you have to pay attention to you rackets and upgrade them from time to time. You can hire other gangsters if you want to or play lone wolf also do able. If you feel overwhelmed do not worry as tutorials are very well explained. I dunno what other people are crying about, i have not experienced any critical bugs which could prevent progressing in game. I only experienced one bug when i could not interact with npc but i fixed it by going into combat and out of it. However, there is one downside to Empire of Sin, characters use a lot of "F" word, usually i do not mind but constantly hearing it gets very annoying.
A good game to play when you wanna chill and play a game with some action in the game and also takes some planning and thinking but still a chill game unless you choose a harder level.
They still haven't even released the 2nd expansion
Woke DLC, be warned. Had I of known the DLC had male brothel workers I would have passed. It was not common enough to be 1920's lore, so why have it? You might as well gave the 1920's employees i-phones Woke ruins everything. Otherwise fun game.
Really just feels like shovelware. Nevermind selling a 2 DLC season pass, where the second DLC was never released, and even mentioning this to the devs gets you banned from their discord according to many people in the steam forums.
