Great shmup. Game doesn't ♥♥♥♥ around. Novice gave me a pounding but got the clear after a couple of hours.... Good times.

Excellent, if tremendously difficult SHMUP, with a very satisfying point-blanking mechanic & frenetic gameplay. This game is pure adrenaline. Simple gameplay but you can't relax for one second!

Very dense and fun shmup with high ship speed and emphasis on destroying enemies quickly by staying in the top half of the screen and speed killing. Fast ship speed, slow enemy bullets (so they take a lot of space for a long time if you don't speed kill enemies), and high point blank damage all incentivize aggressive play. If you want to feel the rush of being a glass cannon, this shmup captures it with clarity and no fluff! Some more points: QoL features are minimal but functional. No replays or leaderboards at the time of this review writing, but the leaderboards are under construction. There is a practice mode where you can choose the start of a stage or its boss. The stages are short but active and dense. The first stage gets kind of boring after enough plays unless you want to go for score micro optimizations.

amazing cave-like game, on par if not better than the bluewish / eden's games. crystal rev update is awesome and added scanlines which is always fun! gauntlet and boss rush are also great additions.
