Space Invaders Extreme

the game doesn't work in an offline mode in an online mode it starts extremely slowly on a steam deck

Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is great. Taito did a great job of updating this classic with interesting new mechanics. However... I thought the obligatory online connection was there in order to get track of high scores ? Wrong, because most of the times my scores don't register at all, and it seems I'm not the only one to experience this. How could they mess up the main reason of playing this otherwise great game ?

No where in the description does it say that you have to always have an internet connection to play this game. And since i waited too long to actually play it. I can't get refunded so F me i suppose. The game is good there's no doubt about it and i love the music. I know this cause i have the DS version already. If you're going to play on a device that will always have a network connection go nuts, buy the game you won't regret it.

i got this game cause i love space invaders and was lookin for nice offline games for my steam deck why the ♥♥♥♥ dose space invaders need internet >:C ITS SPACE INVADERS NOT INTERNET INVADERS. like for real why dose it need internet. i get it maybe it will disable my high score or some ♥♥♥♥ idk but i dont care about that? i wanted space invaders bro not i wont run unless you have internet invaders.

Compared to the DS version, this game is lacking in a lot of areas.
