Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 18/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I bought this game 5 years ago and tried it for the first time, gave up after about 3 hours because the game was too complex for me. Luckily I had a few friends who played elite and they tought me some basics, which is why I fired it up again and oh boy... Let's start with the "negative" sides of the game: - the learning curve is so steep, it will most likely crush many casual players and make you feel frustrated for a long time until things start getting interesting. - Elite tends to crash sometimes, it might be a hardware thing on my side, my PC specs are above average (7900 X3D, RTX 4070 Super) since I don't use SMT and from what I heard Intel Processors have less problems with the game - the game can feel repetitive and is very grindy if you want to achieve some big things like high federal rank, ranking up in Powerplay, getting those engineering materials to really squeeze out the best out of your ship, etc. - playing without 3rd party tools or websites like Inara makes trading, finding stations / traders and ship outfitting very hard, which is annoying, given that otherwise you would spend hours searching for those things and finding profitable trade routes which really hit the sweetspot between time consumption and profit Now, let's get to the point why I sank almost 400 hours in the last 5 months as a full time worker into this game: - This game can be incredibly relaxing. I was never a space-sim fan but always interested in astronomy. The feeling you get flying past that big blazing ball of a star or looking at your first neutron star is something you need to experience for yourself. Landing on a moon thousands of lightyears away from habitated systems, looking at a huge ringed Gas giant whilst the light of a Blue-White star shines through the rings... - despite the steep learning curve, upgrading and buying ships feels like a huge milestone achieved and opens up so many possibilities that make you want to try out new things and activities all of a sudden start making a lot of fun. - most of the galaxy is still unexplored. Even though people play this game for around 10 years, with a big active player base the biggest part still remains unexplored for anyone to go and find new stuff out there. The amount of star systems in unimaginable. - There is no "main quest", just do whatever you prefer. Be a space-trucker and haul goods for money, mine asteroid rings and fill up your cargo racks with high value gems or metals, go for a bounty hunt on pirates or earn your credits exploring planets in the distance. You can even choose to be a pirate yourself and assault mining ships to steal their goods and sell them on a black market. With Odyssey you can even do anything on foot from delivering special items in settlements, reactivating attacked surface stations or wipe the entire population of a plant and flee from the system authorities with your goods. Once things start rolling there is no turning back, it makes you want to go out there and reach the dark edges of our galaxy nobody else has seen before and maybe uncover misteries that were never meant to be uncovered. 9,5/10 for me

not as much of a learning clift like Space engineers.
Euro truck simulator but in space, Best game for playing while drinking, or getting high, If you are planning to getting high and playing, VR is highly recommended.
Very interesting game, it scratches my Sci-Fi Space itch while also providing a decent game loop So far i travelled roughly 50-90 ly from where i started to the Carenar system, after paying a visit to AU Mic of course, was sort of disappointing though since it wasn't accurate to the real AU Mic, as it was instead a Trinary system However this game has a lot of P2W elements, i haven't dived into it nor do i plan to, but i primarily do Solo so it won't affect me
Gorgeous, this game is beautiful and amazing! A must if you love adventures!
