Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 18/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

My benchmaker for the space-sim genre. Fly for the galaxy, explore uncharted systems, plot merchants routes, mine for minerals, fight pirates or aliens, all of that and much more. It may be overwhelming for new players, because you have so much you could do, but also at the same time you will find yourself spend a lot of time doing nothing. They added some years back a fast-paced pvp mode, otherwise is a game that took it's time, but it gives a lot of emotions back.
Its like the old elite on the BBC but on steroids with lots more to see and do. Couple it with a vr headset and WOW! Watch the motion sickness though! Star trek have a screen so inertial compensation isnt an issue, When you have big windows and you are more part of the ship inertial compensation is a ♥♥♥♥♥!
You can get a lot of milage for the price

Elite Dangerous is a great space sim game, it has depth but it's overall fairly easy to play. This isn't a game you'll master in a day or two, there's quit a bit to learn. I love how you can change out and Engineer ship components to improve the flight characteristics and performance of your ship/s, You can spend a week traveling across the Milky Way, exploring and discovering planets that nobody has found. If you want to pirate you can, if you want haul cargo you can. If you want to chase down Bounties you can. The game isn't perfect, it has grown quite a bit since I started in 2020. Sure it's not a pretty as it some of it's other competitors, but this game works well and with very few issues. I logged off near middle of the galaxy in 2022ish and took a long break. I came back and found my ship sitting right where I left it and continued on like no break had occurred. The Game Works and It's Fun. Thanks!
I want to love this game so much. Its main selling point is done very well: making the galaxy feel big and immersive: You really appreciate its sheer scale and cosmic beauty. Every constellation in our real night sky, every funny little shape, you can yourself fly to and experience in their stunning in-house engine. I often found myself just jumping to nebulae or landing on planets for fun because of how genuinely surreal it is. You truly feel like a tiny speck, but you don't feel useless because: The galaxy feels alive with realistic concentrations of people and faction interactions. It tows the line perfectly between a realistic simulation and arcade game so it doesn't overwhelm you once you get past the initial learning curve. You truly feel like a contributor to this massive society with a plethora of careers to choose from (I was too scared of combat so I spent most of my time hauling cargo or passengers and exploring, the latter of which was the highlight of my entire time playing the game) I say "initial learning curve"... and by that I mean you need to learn about all four wiki/Inara tabs you'll be keeping open on a second monitor when playing this game. Some people like this, others don't, and that's understandable. Ship controls are satisfying, what little combat I did do seemed fun, and any career you choose will most likely be fulfilling. Almost everything about the game mechanically is flawless in my books. However, this truly unique experience seems to be brought crashing down by its management. The more aware I became of Frontier's handling of the game, the more I questioned whether I should continue playing. Including but not limited to: -Ship interiors, which were promised since 2012, have made painfully little progress. -Many of the galaxy's most breathtaking and popular nebuale, such as the Pillars of Creation, have not been sufficiently implemented or correctly positioned in the game. But okay, those aren't dealbreakers. However: -First there was the ARX-first ship releases -Then I found out about the substantial powercreep they fell for when inaugurating the previous mentioned system. -And finally, the reason I am writing this review, the Lynx Highliner. I have put over 60 hours (not counting leaving the launcher open) into progressing in this game, but upon finding out I could have skipped ALL of that and just gotten one of the best ships in the game for free, a fact that is not made obvious anywhere in the game unless you go rummaging around in the premium currency store ON THEIR WEBSITE, I now feel like every second I have put into this game has been wasted. And if I HAD known about it when starting, a lot of important (and fun) early game progression would have been skipped. I think it's meant to act as an apology for delaying the newest update for months but... it is so destructive to new players that I cannot fathom why they thought handling it this way was a good idea. Until the management cleans up its act, I cannot recommend this game.
From its original release in 2014 to today, Elite Dangerous has grown into an epic space adventure with something for almost everyone. You can explore unknown systems, discover strange worlds, trade, mine, fight, hunt pirates, engineer your ships, investigate alien mysteries or simply head into deep space to see what is out there. I have travelled more than 200,000 light-years, reached Sagittarius A*, earned Elite rank in trading and built a fleet of more than twenty ships. Yet the galaxy still feels enormous, mysterious and full of new possibilities. Some of my best experiences have come from long expeditions, quiet moments far from civilisation and adventures shared with friends. That is where Elite Dangerous truly shines. You are not simply completing a story written for you. You choose your own goals and gradually create your own story among the stars. The learning curve is steep and the game demands patience. It will not explain everything, and at first it can feel overwhelming. But give it a proper chance. Learn your ship, take on different challenges and, most importantly, find some friends to fly with. After all these years, I am still discovering new reasons to return. See you in the black, Commanders. o7
