Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 7 → 4.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The thing I like about Eco is it's a survival/craft game that requires infrastructure. I need buildings for machines to work and bridges for vehicles to drive over. I don't have everything in a small base and just carry everything form A to B in my inventory. It's also got a good basis for advancing, tedium is good as less tedium is a reward for advancing and investing. Such as good food meaning I don't have to shovel 20 beetroots down my throat with a slow animation. The biggest problem with this game is it's far too painful, long and expensive to ever get anyone else to play this with you and it's built to be a multiplayer 'society builder' game. So playing this game singleplayer is ass, you're basically required to cheat to unlock stars to unlock careers to unlock tech and crafting recipes. I want to build a stove so I'm not cooking on a campfire, so I need forks, which needs iron and the blacksmithing skill, which needs the smelting skill, which needs masonry and carpentry, which needs mining logging and gathering. But wait I also need lumber, which needs a sawmill and flaxseed, a sawmill I can already make with the skill I picked up making forks but the flaxseed oil needs milling, which needs farming and campfire cooking and then I need to also farm the flax, which takes time and the game doesn't explain if my flax is going to grow or die because of soil and overcrowding and yes, I did make sure to plant it in the correct biome, All of this seems good from a tech tree that wants you to engage with all its systems *but* the game wants you to fill your role and have other roles filled by other players and so to play it single player means bearing the full weight of the game's tedium and having it fight against you as it wants you to society build not do everything yourself 6/10 It seems good at what it wants to do but damn does it not want me to play it my way

A lot of the later updates makes it seem like the devs really just want to make the game take longer, and be more grindy. Its been in early access forever, and its development has has gone in a lot of strange direction. Adding a dinner party dynamic being an example of this. It started out as a fun little game where you work with your buddies to save the world. Learning new things and unlocking technologies as you take on different roles to do so. Now it feels like the game wants you to use an economic system for your small specialized labour role....like making hammers from parts that you need to buy from three other players. Its just so slow, grindy and boring now.
I am going to be completely honest here. I love this game. I have over 2100 hours into this game. However, 12.0 just came out and WTF DID YOU DO TO THIS GAME!?!?!? The graphics are the worst! I know you did a lot of good changes for QOL and other fund mods that have been integrated. For that, I say thank you. Seriously, though, who were you testers? This is AWFUL! The graphics are absolutely terrible! Please revert ASAP and do a new test group. It is making us (and I say so in Discord with multiple other people) nauseous! I understand wanting realism but its terrible. For example. the sunrise is BLINDING! In dark, you cannot see in the game whatsoever! Please, for the love of god, roll back all visual changes and start over.
grind the game. Having fun playing with friends but everything you try to do will be roadblocked with at least 2.5 hours of other tasks you gotta do first. Have the wiki open while playing. Although i am having fun in my current play and will keep progressing our little town, idk that i can really recommend this one, $30 is crazy overpriced
When you learn to accept that Eco comes with memory leaks and random bugs, you can finally enjoy a game filled with a lot of different play styles. You can digg the biggest mine or build the most beautiful building. Or you can do as I and work your ass off to be the best and most prioritized shop on your server. Get rich, find new friends, hate your neighbours, do whatever your heart desire. Eco is a game it is easy to spend to many hours in, but also a game that you need months of break from every now and then :P A game you hate to love, but you can't manage to ever stop playing it. See you in the other world.
Great game ruined by clunky gameplay and some of the worst ui ive ever seen and dealt with
I have over 600 hours in the game, and its a great game until the most recent update. The devs make the specializations into stupidity. Want to select a talent, star. Want to put in a upgrade module in a table. That'll be one star PER STATION. I wouldn't play this much anymore. They have taken the fun out of the game and turned into star microtransaction hell.
Funky Town Forever !!!
Update 12 broke the game countless bugs even worse perfomance than before and the new shader looks ass. I really liked the game its sad to see what it has become.
