An interesting game, with a few caveats Let's get the bad out of the way first -- the game will crash, a lot. At least until you put in some launch options that users on the discussion boards have come up with. As far as I read, this is an issue with unreal games compiled before a certain date, and since the studio is no longer around it's not gonna get a recompile. It's a pretty easy fix, but worth knowing about regardless. The game also starts slow, almost painfully so. I don't really have anything against walking sims, but that's what the first hour of the game felt closest to, and it doesn't really feel well suited to the genre of game this is. It builds atmosphere and tension I guess, but I think it's better for a game, especially an indie, to get the hooks of its gameplay into you sooner, even moreso when that's what it's mainly sold on. There are a few other things, like the running not feeling great, enemies that will chain-grab you, etc., but that's starting to get into territory that feels nitpicky, and it's far from the worst offender you could find in any of these. As for the good, the voice performances were fairly gripping and well written. I was always engaged by them, with an interesting dynamic between the main characters and conversations that hinted at an interesting broader world. Even for a game that's nearly a decade old (Oh god) the environments look great, absolutely nailing the vibe of an opulent megastructure. They can feel a bit samey at times, with the level design not feeling completely natural to find your way through, though I suspect that's exactly how it's supposed to feel. It's not a real space meant to be inhabited, it's some farcical imitation of one. Lastly, the idea of your enemies learning from you is the best implementation I've seen of the idea. If you're paying attention, it's always clear when your actions have triggered learning, and when the enemies will start and stop using the things they've learned from you. Having these clearly defined rules for how the learning works makes it easy to strategize around it, rather than having a black box that learns from you where there's the novelty of something learning from you without necessarily giving the strategic depth that this brings. If you don't want your enemies to run, don't run. If you don't want them to shoot, don't shoot. These are tools you can bring out when you need them, but how clear the consequences are always allows you to make interesting and informed decisions about when and where to let the enemy learn something new. All in all, I think it's definitely worth playing for its interesting ideas and good presentation, so long as you're willing to forum sleuth a bit to find the necessary launch options.

This is an amazing hidden gem, but wow does it put you through the wringer. The game’s whole pitch about the AI learning from you isn’t just marketing fluff it’s real. Every move you make, every habit you fall into, the enemies pick up on it. And when they spot you, they don’t hesitate. They sprint straight at you with zero fear, like they’ve downloaded your entire playstyle and decided it’s time to punish you for it. The difficulty hits hard, but in a way that feels intentional and clever rather than cheap. It forces you to rethink how you play, break your own patterns, and stay unpredictable. When a game makes you feel like the one being studied, that’s something special. I also genuinely loved the story. It’s mysterious, atmospheric, and absolutely feels like it was setting up for a sequel. The ending practically screams “there’s more coming,” and honestly, I would love love to see this world and these ideas expanded on. If you want something unique, challenging, and smart something that treats you like a player who can handle being outplayed ECHO is absolutely worth your time P.S. Yes the game crashed on me when I first opened it so I had to do this thing to make it work: "Basically type environment variables into start, and open "Edit the system environment variables" > click on "Environemnt Variables" on the bottom right > Click on "New..." at the bottom > can create an environment variable called "OPENSSL_ia32cap" with the value ":~0x20000000d". (Both without the quote marks). Then ok."
brillant
This game had me on the edge the whole time. Is the perfect hardness. the voice acting is good. The Graphics are great. I couldn't wait for the end to see what happened...........This was the only huge let down, the ending sucked.
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY THIS "GAME"!!!! That is not a real game. The loading screen will crash immidiatelly after launching it. Company's e-mails provided for support don't exist (as a company itself most likely) If you have downloaded this game already - delete it via some shredding software (like "CCleaner") immidiatelly and run an anti-virus!
Cool ideas, but the repetetive nature, the clunky movement, samey environments and invonvenient save checkpoints make this ultimately not worth my time. The controls, movement and interface feels like this was meant to be a VR game at some point.
