going fast feels incredibly good. if you like filling out a map and like zooming around and like being able to look up/down so far the whole world starts rolling as your character does a flip and like the weird things destructible environments does to level design you should try this game. making all the weapons projectile-based instead of hit-scan makes it so that you always feel great about hitting even simple shots (and when you manage land a hit with your sniper rifle after wall-riding on your hoverboard to get some air then flipping upside down to get the angle just right as you soar over some random baddie it feels like nothing else) the first time I tried to use my grapple hook on
a cloud (and it worked!!!)
I felt like cheering I'm not quite finished with the expansion but the main game's ending sequence is an absolute all-timer so I'm excited to see what else I have in store for me

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 2 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really like how the game makes me question which way is up add to that the stunning visuals paired with the electro synth music and I feel so immersed. Fun gameplay. Some of the best movement

Shmoooovin.
as a society, we used to make games that strove to be as FAST and as ♥♥♥♥♥♥' COOL as possible!!! As a society we made better gaming hardware for the sole purpose of making games that are faster and cooler than the games from last generation. In the broader AAA space a lot of games strive for slow thoughtful stories and realistic physics, and I GET IT, like I understand why the industry moved that way, but goddddddddd does it suck that we do not get more video games with the design ethos that Echo Point Nova has. Echo Point Nova is just a beautiful, fast, and frankly cool as ♥♥♥♥ movement shooter FPS with an open ended "collect-a-thon" progression system. It's whole shtick is giving you a grossly indulgent toolkit of movement options, and pointing at a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rock floating in the sky 1000000 miles away and asking "think you can reach that island?" and without fail the answer if "yeah, you can probably reach that island if you are sick as hell". You get a wall riding hoverboard, a grappling hook, a quadruple jump, rocket jumps, grenades that act like deploy-able Sonic the Hedgehog ass bounce pads, a pickaxe and a nearly fully destructible world and are basically entirely let loose to fly and zip around to your hearts content. It's so sick. The combat also rules, it's a lil scrappy and frankly pretty easy to cheese a lot of encounters (very little of the late game clean up can handle the combination of the RPG and the reload and ammo refill perks) but honestly, I see the combat arenas as an opportunity to kinda just swag on some enemies, hitting tightly-aimed well-led shots while flying through the air at 1000000 miles and hour is just simply NEVER going to be anything less than Very Fun. Also the boss fights are just really sharply designed, I think having these big ass mech bosses that you gotta climb and skate around on to reach their weak points is just a really smart way to do boss fights in a game where the movement really is the star of the show. I love fast games. I love short games. I love games with good replay value. Echo Point Nova is tight, fun, cool as ♥♥♥♥ and I love it.
Hell yeah! This games is an FPS player's dream sandbox game. It's like a CS2 Surf world with FPS challenges all across the map and a loose overarching storyline in the same vein as Breath of the Wild. What I mean by that is you unlock additional movement/stamina/grapple options that let you naturally unlock more of the map. The bosses are also massive hybrid animal/structures that you have to utilize all of your movement against in massive arenas and take down piece by piece as dozens of enemies target you in bullet hell glory! Great fun in single player and the co-op felt just as clean!
When I bought Severed Steel a few years ago, I had a lot of misconceptions about it. I expected a very high-octane, constantly in-your-face shooter where you feel like an actual god shooting heads left and light like it's nothing, with constant movement where you're almost never on the ground. Ultimately, I was wrong - it's a much more zen-like experience where you turn your brain off, take in the sights and try to stay in slow-oe as much as you can. I didn't gel with it at first but it grew on me after a few playthroughs, so I was very excited about Greylock's next game. EPN is, quite literally, EXACTLY what I thought Severed Steel would be. It goes at a breakneck pace, but it's very tolerant of mistakes - even if you miss a jump by a mile, you have 2 to 3 options to correct it instantly. And the gunplay is just pristine, coupled with a slow-mo mechanic that's the exact opposite of Severed Steel; a few seconds of power trip every few minutes instead of a constant state you should be seeking. It's also EXTREMELY open and allows you to go pretty much anywhere at any moment, which fits perfectly with the insane amount of speed and height you can gain. Though it relies a bit too much on big quest markers to my liking - You can turn them off but the game was clearly designed with them in mind and it makes it hard to figure out where to go next sometimes. You like shooters? You're not prone to motion sickness? Get this game now.
