Eastward

I’m fighting monsters with a frying pan. 10/10

Eastward is what happens when you love a project too much. It was good, but it was detailed and lengthy. My positive notes are the atmosphere/general vibe was amazing, the animations and the puzzles were really fun and overall, though very in-depth, the characters were charming. The main plot was detailed but easily understandable (even though i button mashed through a lot of dialogue, thank you fast forward feature!)

Veamos, es un juego hecho con cariño y dedicación, de eso no hay duda. El gameplay es aceptable, no destacaría nada en concreto, pero tampoco tiene fallos. Es un juego de aventura estilo Zelda (aunque más directo, dividido en capítulos y sin backtracking). Tiene un minijuego RPG que está bien, pero no es el juego principal, así que no le doy mucha importancia y tampoco me fascinó. La historia está llena de cabos sueltos y ese es el punto más flojo para mí. Si la historia hubiera resuelto todo, en vez de meterte en un caos de conceptos que no están bien solucionados, probablemente podría recomendar el juego. Todo apunta mientras juegas a que va a ser una gran aventura, con giros de guion bastante constantes, pero falla en darle al jugador motivos para empatizar con los personajes. Como aventura 2D indie, es un 6, algunos conceptos interesantes. Como historia, creo que los guionistas deberían haber pensado mejor adónde querían ir y darle más sentido a todo. Sam es cute.

算是优缺点比较分明的游戏了，剧情可以说是儿童剧情（别在意剧情了），难度倒还好，就是有些地方确实设计风味不佳，还做得又臭又长。 优点来说 时长体量比我预想的多一点，美术性确实没话说，很有动力去全解锁一些图鉴什么的。 整体来说，算是打折可玩的一款良好作品

도트그래픽이 매우 좋은 게임 그러나 스토리 부분에 있어서 좀 하자가 있다고 느껴지다보니 추천여부를 묻는다면 비추한다. 게임성 같은건 무난무난하니 퍼즐이나 전투가 그럭저럭이라 상관없는데, 스토리 구성이랄까? 에피소드에 너무 치중한거 같기도하고 캐릭터들의 동기가 잘 모르겠다보니 남한테 추천하기는 쉽지 않다. 다만 그래픽에 매료되서 굳이 해보겠다고 한다면 또 기쓰고 말릴정도는 아님 나중에 DLC도 구매해서 귀여운 샘으로 농꾸나 해야겠다.

I would give this a 75 or 80 out of 100. Art direction is its strength. The environments are all different for each stage and well done. The gameplay is an Earthbound-like gameworld with old Zelda combat which is interesting sometimes. Other times it confines you into a box or on a tight leash. The biggest issue is that the story seems convoluted. It doesn't do a great job at conveying itself and keeps important factors vague. It seems like they were so focused on the aesthetic of the content they were inspired from (Earthbound, Cowboy Bebop, Memories, LoZ, Dragon Quest, Metropolis, etc.) that they forgot about making a cohesive story and portraying that story to the audience. It's still enjoyable, but don't expect much from the storytelling.

越到后面关卡设计的越恶心，整个游戏流程毫无提示，又长又臭，策划自己打通关过吗
