Reviews
A promising start
Despite being still in development, I already enjoy playing it. pros + original and beautiful graphics + intuitive controls + many interesting ways to improve your city + an active community on discord, for those who are interested in sharing ideas with the dev and other players cons - stumbling upon bugs from time to time
Got a lot of potential
I love the graphics and the way I can build my city with all the interactions and how I can manage it. And on top of that, it's even cheaper than expected. €15, considering the number of hours I'll be able to play it, is much cheaper than a movie ticket. I hope the (only !) developer keeps their promises regarding future development. It's certainly not completely finished yet, but I'm looking forward to what's to come!

I'd say from my short time in game it is a very provisional yes. Barebones city builder - as other reviews already said. But it has the potential to be a really nice game. I do like the environment, the trees and the water look great, as do the little people and animals running around, but the buildings don't look appealing to me. The colours really clash when compared to the Kickstarter teasers, also the design of the buildings makes little sense to me. There are quite a few bugs, hopefully they get fixed in an update. Everything needs work, the story, resource balance, clearer UI, but it is very early access so those things are to be expected. I will let the dev cook and revisit this review at a later date.
Fun city builder with a nice variety of content from a solo developer. So far there are a couple of objective based missions & a sandbox mode. Really nice soundtrack as well. I seen some negative comments about stuttering/ frame rate drops, I turned off "cap fps" & I never had any issues, except for loading the map preview. It's a good game similar to Kingdoms and Castles . It takes a bit of studying the tutorial , because at various bits you might get stuck for a while. However if you have played similar games you might not , you might find it very easy. So far I would give it 8/10. Thanks.
Merci !
Beautiful visuals, cozy atmosphere, and solid city-building foundations. Earth of Oryn already feels enjoyable and has a lot of potential as development continues.
