A new EDF adventure begins! Only this time, the action unfolds in a parallel world where the Earth is made of digital blocks. This world has befallen into chaos, as the once peaceful square Earth has been shattered into pieces. Shape aside, it is an Earth nonetheless which needs to be defended.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews

How can you call me your world brother when you oven the cold food ovout the hot food eat the food??
This game got me into the EDF franchise and I really love it. It has huge variety of characters and weapons, that don't let you get bored with same abilities and attacks. The game handles the atmosphere very well, it can be both funny and serious depending on the situation. Also I want to point out great voice acting -- one of the best parts of the game, music here is excellent as well, really liked the theme at the final bossfight : ) Enemy and characters designs are on point, although I didn't play other games from the series I liked bosses a lot (as a kaiju fan). Maps are beautiful too, wish there would be more of them. Bad parts of the game? I'd say that a lot of character are way worse than the others? for example in my playthrough, especially in late game meelee attackers were almost useless. I see that a lot of enemies are the same or resizes and recolors but that didn't feel boring or annoying to me. As I mentioned before, lack of maps was noticeable, but not critical of course. Overall rating -- 9.2 out of 10 EDF!! EDF!! EDF!!
Movement in gameplay feels clunky. The character swapping is not necessarily a positive, in my opinion. Feels like excessive micromanagement to maximize use of all characters, or complete ignoring as you pick out your mobile character and your shooting character. The plot and variety of characters seem humorous, and I do like the references to other EDF games. Some environment destruction is neat to see in comparison to mainline games.
I feel like this game simplifies the formula of EDF too much to be fun which is a shame. It does some interesting things by allowing you to switch characters and get some pretty wild variants of different classes that function differently. As you get duplicates of various characters, you level them up and gain more weapon variety which allows you greater flexibility in creating your ideal team. In this game you also see a lot more different locales than the main series which is kind of nice and the enemy variety is pretty decent. Unfortunately because you don't have really enough fun stuff to play with compared to the main line series I found this a little too uninteresting to play long term. I also found the jokes due to the simplification to be a too hamfisted in this series but I do get its geared more towards younger children. Overall, I personally can't recommend this as the second game does a lot of the same things but remains the spirit of the series and still remains fun with its dumbing down of the series.
