For Lack of more succinct word, this game is Complete Cheeks. First of all, the AI is non-operational It’s either brain-dead easy, or simply cheating. There is no middle ground. The animation based gameplay is based on dice rolls that are influenced on player spacing. The gameplay itself is not fun. It in no way as emblematic of the real game. Development is not based on the skill of the game player, but the amount of experience points one puts into skills that give you a higher chance to obtain a favorable animation. Secondly, the game is filled with micro-transactions that are completely egregious. There are multiple single player modes where one can pay for experience points. In multiplayer, there are modes to pay for higher ranking players. There are constant, annoying advertisements built into the game to try and get you to spend as much money as humanly possible. Monetization is at the forefront of the game. Everything else is secondary. Thirdly, you will experience multiple bugs, glitches, and/or outright crashes. I have zero hope that any of these issues will be fixed. This is an irredeemable mess that will forever tarnish the brand name. I have zero faith in future installments, now that electronic arts has been acquired and demands increased monetization at any cost. If enough people do not purchase this, perhaps they will lose their exclusive license like what happened with Star Wars. We can only hope!

The Game is Fine and I actually had fun playing it. I like a lot of the new controls they added, it brings a new level of techniques to the game. However my problem is that they gave me "10 HRS." of free trial to play it as long as i bought a subscription to EA Play, so I did and then i went to play the game and They Literally gave me 1 Hour and then said that my Trial was over. They are running a scam and misleading people just so they subscribe to EA Play, which pisses me off. I Hate rich companies who try to fck the little guys so that they get richer. I would've bought The game but now I'm pissed, and not to boast or brag but I have been pretty successful in life and I'm petty af!! I don't really have anything else to do atm so I'm thinking about calling my lawyer and dropping whatever it costs to show these ppl they cant just scam ppl into buying their product. DO NOT PURCHASE EA PLAY TO TRY THIS GAME ITS A SCAM!!!

I do enjoy the game, but sometimes I wonder if the devs have ever watched or let alone played football
i waited 4 years since the last title, and it looks like nothing has changed. at this point we weont get a real football game until the license runs out for EA. they genuinely suck. theres nothing like waiting for football to start, playing a game of madden and having that feeling ruined :) this game is unfinished, i dont understand how when its just a reskin. running the ball sucks, and it feels like when you pass the ball something is always off, weird animations and game speed.
