Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Nota: 10/10.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I don't know man. I really liked the first dying light. I liked scavenging, the slow crawl through dark hotels and houses and what not. What happened? Both this and dying light 2 seem so soulless. The narrative here is trash and the writing is d-tier comic book level. Every character is one dimensional and you knew right away who'd "betray" you. And dear god the boss fights. They take forever to kill and have so few attacks that it's immediately a boring chore. Wanna start on a high difficulty? Well before you have any tools you have to somehow get through the spongiest of introductory bosses. There is fun to be had here, clearing zones and scavenging and upgrading crafting recipes and what not. What I really don't understand is why the designers would choose to make everything so shallow. Focus on a small set of characters, their struggles, and the bonding between characters as you figure out how to survive in this space. You don't need a comic book villain to make this compelling. Olivia could have been a fantastic character. Wasted. Selby, Sven, etc. The idea was good but you get like zero development. I feel sad about this franchise because I loved the first game so much and saw the potential. Somehow the team missed what was so good about the first game.
I did not like the second game so I waited until this one was on sale, and this one is real good, it feels more like the first game, with the cool upgrade of Beast mode.
game rushed and little content, expected more from a dying light game
the constant zombie grabbing from 2 meters renders this game unplayable
