Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 10 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Dustborn is a single-player, story-driven action-adventure game about hope, love, friendships, robots…and the power of words.
You play Pax: exile, con-artist — Anomal. Looking for a way out and a new life, Pax has been hired to transport an important package from Pacifica to Nova Scotia, across the Justice-controlled American Republic.
Explore the stunning Neo-Western landscapes of an alternate history America on a robot-driven tour bus, and stop at a dozen locations along the road to build your crew, manage relationships, complete missions, and face increasingly difficult challenges.
But the people you stole the package from want it back, and Justice is hot on your heels, so don’t forget to pack your baseball bat!
At the end of the road lies salvation…but to get there, you need to cross an entire continent.

Words have power. Like, actual power. Fight with Shouts and use your Vox in conversations to manipulate people and talk your way out of hairy situations. Craft new words, and learn to wield a lingual arsenal against enemies...and friends.

On the road across an alternate history America, you’ll stop at iconic locations, take on unexpected assignments, meet a colorful cast of characters, enlist new crew members, and evade (or fight) your pursuers. See beautiful sights along the highway, rendered in a colorful graphic-novel-inspired art style that brings stunning 2D illustrations to 3D life.

Your crew is your (found) family. Round up, manage and lean on a motley mob of misfits with peculiar powers, compelling stories and clashing personalities. Branching dialogues lead to choices that shape relationships and change how your crew feels about themselves and others.

In each location you’ll explore, investigate and chat with the people you meet, use the crew to overcome challenges, craft new Shouts and Vox, and rehearse with your band. You might also find yourself throwing Molotov cocktails from a motorbike, swing a baseball bat to take down helicopters…and more. You know, just normal everyday stuff.

A heart-warming story about community, identity, and developing deep bonds to survive life's difficulties. The art is gorgeous, the characters are all charming, the choices have a nice impact on the story, and there are several dialogue options that appear/disappear as the scene goes, unlock new dialogue options, and changes the scenes completely. If you don't enjoy the combat style, you can just skip it. I, personally, quite liked it. Lots of diversity and good representation, an amazing protagonist, and a great ending. This game was a joy to play! Took me 18hs to finish.

It's not a bad game—a little minimalist in terms of graphics, and other, but it's not as bad as a lot of people say. 7 or 8/10 More walking sim/deep/ weird games: part 1: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45665580 This full because make part 2: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/46219602
solid AA game. slow-paced, with most of the game taken up with the characters talking to each other. the voice acting is good and the comic book art style is gorgeous. the musical rhythm sections weren't great, but didn't spoil it for me. certainly worth a try when it's on sale.
The protagonist can hurt people with her voice. That's the whole premise of this game in one sentence, and for the first several hours it works. You're a con artist with a gunshot wound, a stolen package, and a crew of misfits you're smuggling across a fractured, alternate history America where JFK's assassination went differently and a federal police force slowly turned the country authoritarian. Conversations feel like the real game here. You choose calm, or cutting, or you lean on your ability to weaponize language, and every choice quietly reshapes how your crew sees you by the end of the trip. The problem is everything stacked on top of that. Dustborn wants to be an adventure game, a rhythm game, and a beat em up all at once, and the beat em up part in particular just doesn't hold up. Combat is loose and unsatisfying, health regenerates fast enough that failure barely registers, and the game seems to know it, since it asks you upfront whether you'd like less of it. I wish I'd said yes. It's also a game that wears its politics loudly, and whether that lands for you will probably depend a lot on what you walked in expecting. When it's specific, showing you a person radicalized by disinformation rather than just naming the concept, it's genuinely moving. When it isn't, the dialogue can feel like it's explaining its own themes to you instead of trusting you to notice them. I liked the people in this story more than I liked playing as them. 19 hours is a lot to ask when a third of that time is spent in systems that don't pull their weight.
such a beautifully done game. i dont understand why people are so hateful towards this game. if you think its woke and all this other crap i think you may have issues. what game, movie, show doesn't have a ragtag group of outcasts fighting against some sort of government, mind u, in america. its a game and its really fun and well done.
Finally got round to playing this after buying it out of sheer annoyance at all the negative responses early on. Turns out that was all rather ironic. Red Thread do wonderful story telling and I willingly spent a few immersive hours letting the doom and gloom headlines fade away. Loved the bits of poetry here and there and Rubber Ducky's cameo! (Looking out for at least one crow ref in the upcoming games...) Thanks for making this; I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed it.
100000/10 Best decision based game I've ever played, no contest. The characters feel alive with the way everyone interacts with one another and every minor decision + conversation matters. Organically letting discussions play out to see more was top tier. Starting a second playthrough nooow
for 1.5 Euro this is a good 12h game. The story has some small issues and fights are a bit dull, but not bad for 1.5 euro
