Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 10 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Dustborn is a single-player, story-driven action-adventure game about hope, love, friendships, robots…and the power of words.
You play Pax: exile, con-artist — Anomal. Looking for a way out and a new life, Pax has been hired to transport an important package from Pacifica to Nova Scotia, across the Justice-controlled American Republic.
Explore the stunning Neo-Western landscapes of an alternate history America on a robot-driven tour bus, and stop at a dozen locations along the road to build your crew, manage relationships, complete missions, and face increasingly difficult challenges.
But the people you stole the package from want it back, and Justice is hot on your heels, so don’t forget to pack your baseball bat!
At the end of the road lies salvation…but to get there, you need to cross an entire continent.

Words have power. Like, actual power. Fight with Shouts and use your Vox in conversations to manipulate people and talk your way out of hairy situations. Craft new words, and learn to wield a lingual arsenal against enemies...and friends.

On the road across an alternate history America, you’ll stop at iconic locations, take on unexpected assignments, meet a colorful cast of characters, enlist new crew members, and evade (or fight) your pursuers. See beautiful sights along the highway, rendered in a colorful graphic-novel-inspired art style that brings stunning 2D illustrations to 3D life.

Your crew is your (found) family. Round up, manage and lean on a motley mob of misfits with peculiar powers, compelling stories and clashing personalities. Branching dialogues lead to choices that shape relationships and change how your crew feels about themselves and others.

In each location you’ll explore, investigate and chat with the people you meet, use the crew to overcome challenges, craft new Shouts and Vox, and rehearse with your band. You might also find yourself throwing Molotov cocktails from a motorbike, swing a baseball bat to take down helicopters…and more. You know, just normal everyday stuff.

I really loved this game. I don't know how to describe it but it just felt important to me to experience a game that was beautiful to look at and entertaining. The combat was nothing to give a million awards to, but it didn't need to be. The game is all about words, communication, conversation. And you get that with every second of the game. Whether you're reflecting with your own thoughts or you're bantering with the teammates mid-combat. The characters were all extremely interesting and had me hooked from the start. The voice actors did a fantastic job, and everyone had such a distinct and recognizable look. The writing of each character was great, and I found the system of how they develop a bit confusing but still engrossing. I get that a lot of people hate on this game for any number of reasons ranging from it not being a triple A title to it being too diverse and progressive, but it felt important to me and my life. Seeing a character be subtly shown as Muslim just by catching them praying, to finding a character with a prosthetic limb, it felt like there was something that represented the people I know in my life. Sure, we aren't one-for-one comparisons, but just to have that level of familiarity helped me care so much more.

10/10 game, amazing storyline, voice acting, characters, tear jerker, all of it chefs kiss
Самое смешное, что при всей этой визуальной суете игра очень старается казаться важной и драматичной, хотя часто выглядит как автобусный тур группы людей, которые слишком долго обсуждают собственные чувства. the game is not bad by any means .plays like a novel .reminds me of telltale games . i got it for 1.19 usd on sale .for the price and content it is looking fine to me and gets a thumbs up from me.also i am playing this game with mouse and keyboard and controls are fine .no problem.
I don’t know why people don’t like it. It is a good game, The storyline is very detailed, and you can really tell that the author put a lot of thought into it. I also really like some of the concepts in the game, such as each member of the main cast having a unique ability that can influence other people’s emotions. And when finishing a chapter, you can have a small comic about the game play through.
This game has a lot of sharp edges, but I mostly liked it. It is not perfect by any means, but it tries to create something that you can get in and understand. The choice gimmick and the general gameplay feel rather satisfying and the carachter are just fine. The graphics are one of the strong point, they look good and don't destroy performance. I can tell that a lot of love has gone into this game and I like the overall feel.
This game felt like someone crossed an idea from DONTNOD with combat techniques from Hellblade. Is it perfect? No. There is some jank in the design (Pax walks a bit too slow for my taste, but that can be endured; the combat feels clunky and not very responsive, but, again, it can be endured; the rhythm game - yes, there is one - can feel as unresponsive as the combat ... ), yet apart from that I have zero complaints. If you don't like the way the characters are written, if you don't like the music, if you don't like the story ... well, there is nothing I can say to change your mind. If you don't want to pay full price, I got it on sale. Ultimately, I had fun, wanted to see it through to the end and I came away satisfied.
GREAT game, lovely characters, wonderful story. A little buggy but nothing a game restart couldn't fix.
The story is very good, the art very pretty, the pace of the game is good. The mechanics are unusual but very satisfying.
Coming fresh off of a first playthrough: WOW! What a tragically underrated gem of an adventure game! Although I can see how the game's own promotional material works against attracting the kind of players who would appreciate it the most. The impression I got from the trailers, and even from the demo that I played a long time ago, was that of a somewhat zany rhythm-game+brawler+zeitgeisty (to avoid the dreaded w-word) political allegory, with a bit of Road 96-style choose-your-own-adventure thrown in. What it actually is however, is a huge, lavish adventure game in the vein of Life is Strange 2, structured, like Life is Strange 2, by a big road trip across a fictional (post-)U.S.A., and a cast of characters both with and without powers (of the genre comicbook kind), with SO much great voice acting, and one of the best written and least predictable video game stories I have ever come across. Anyone who enjoys: * Life is Strange 2 * A road-trip / road-movie style plot and structure * Dystopic alternate-history SciFi * People-with-powers (but not outright superheroes) and a comicbook aesthetic to match * Dialogue that is quippy one moment and serious the next * Collectible-hunting * Choice-driven character development (both for the protagonist and the other main characters of story) as the main objective of the game * A big, meaty adventure you can easily spend 20 hours on AND get meaningful repeat playthroughs out of and who can tolerate: * Non-optional not-that-great rhythm game bits * (Entirely skipable) realtime third person brawling combat that tries to do interesting things, but ends up being pretty janky * occasionally reloading a save game after soft-locking the game by pushing buttons too quickly should not sleep on this. A new all-time favorite of mine. 9/10
