Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 10 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Dustborn is a single-player, story-driven action-adventure game about hope, love, friendships, robots…and the power of words.
You play Pax: exile, con-artist — Anomal. Looking for a way out and a new life, Pax has been hired to transport an important package from Pacifica to Nova Scotia, across the Justice-controlled American Republic.
Explore the stunning Neo-Western landscapes of an alternate history America on a robot-driven tour bus, and stop at a dozen locations along the road to build your crew, manage relationships, complete missions, and face increasingly difficult challenges.
But the people you stole the package from want it back, and Justice is hot on your heels, so don’t forget to pack your baseball bat!
At the end of the road lies salvation…but to get there, you need to cross an entire continent.

Words have power. Like, actual power. Fight with Shouts and use your Vox in conversations to manipulate people and talk your way out of hairy situations. Craft new words, and learn to wield a lingual arsenal against enemies...and friends.

On the road across an alternate history America, you’ll stop at iconic locations, take on unexpected assignments, meet a colorful cast of characters, enlist new crew members, and evade (or fight) your pursuers. See beautiful sights along the highway, rendered in a colorful graphic-novel-inspired art style that brings stunning 2D illustrations to 3D life.

Your crew is your (found) family. Round up, manage and lean on a motley mob of misfits with peculiar powers, compelling stories and clashing personalities. Branching dialogues lead to choices that shape relationships and change how your crew feels about themselves and others.

In each location you’ll explore, investigate and chat with the people you meet, use the crew to overcome challenges, craft new Shouts and Vox, and rehearse with your band. You might also find yourself throwing Molotov cocktails from a motorbike, swing a baseball bat to take down helicopters…and more. You know, just normal everyday stuff.

I played Dustborn on my Steam Machine. It ran smoothly throughout. The comic book-inspired visuals are the game’s strongest feature, and I appreciated the unique art style. Unfortunately, the rest didn’t land for me.” “I felt the game leaned too heavily on messaging that pulled me out of the experience. I bought this looking for an entertaining adventure, but the writing and dialogue often felt forced and made it hard to stay engaged. While some players may enjoy its themes and story style, it wasn’t for me.” “Great visuals and solid performance, but the story and dialogue were not my thing.” Wouldn’t recommend based on my experience.

The more I played this the more I compare it to Life is Strange: True Colours. Both games explore empathy and maniuplating people. Except LiS feels so sanitised and boring compared to Dustborn? I went into this with low expectations, and to be honest both of these games arnt that good. But I am more pleasently surprised with Dustborn. Characters are incredibly messy, and it just gets messier as it goes. Emotional honestly from yourself becomes key in improving your overall relationship with everyone and its not perfect or always bound to be positive, but I appreciate it a lot more than LiS. Anyways if anything you get this game on sale, its an interesting 10 - 15 hours of gameplay.
This game has soo many types of games within it that I'm actually astounded. There are soo many funny moments, there's tons of rep in different walks of life; religion, gender presentation, aesthetic, races, disabilities, I can honestly go on and on. It's very LGBTQ friendly, and a great time to get involved and turn your brain off for hours at a time. I love the superhero recaps and issue, despite not being a traditional superhero story. I love the world lore, I love the art, and I absolutely adore the dialogue system and how it changes your experience as it goes. There's a multitude of plot twists that made me gasp, and on top of that, I even ended up shedding a few tears. Like narrative stories? this game is for you. Like combat segments and boss fights? this game's for you. Like old school arcade games or turn based JRPGs? This game's for you. Like rythm games? I can keep going on, but I cannot rate it highly enough. There are a few glitches; I tried to wash the sink at the end and it crashed the game 4 seperate times, there was a weird bat visual glitch that made a light effect on the screen until another battle segment at one point, a lot of times when I threw anything but the bat it would bounce the item instead of breaking (only really caused an issue in one segment, and it wasn't big enough to bother me), and other little things like that. Honestly, at a minimum this game is worth a try!
Honestly, I found this pretty enjoyable. The range of "fights," the characters and choice base routes is nice (the fact that you just aren't going to like every character) and the extra bits for upgrades is rad. It's colorful and fun, it's a game with a variety of messages. It's pretty, interesting, and cool to see this version of the world (a bummer obviously, if you actually pay attention to what's occurred over the real world these past years). Thanks for the game!
I don't get the hate. The game takes some time to get started. Maybe the dialog is a bit on the nose, but the gameplay is nice, the story is unique. They could've dropped a gameplay element to streamline the whole experience.
This game is PHENOMONAL!! However, if you don't have basic empathy or communication skills you won't like it. You won't get it. You will fail. So, don't bother. There's a reason the incel MAGAts don't like it. If they had it their way we'd all be sitting around with out thumbs up our asses pretending like our own life choices are EVERYONE ELSE'S ISSUES. When can we stop listening to this overly loud ignorant crowd? Due to them I can't get any info on this game. In any case, I turned off fighting cuz I don't like to do it. I do enough IRL. It was very enjoyable. It was very heartfelt. It was, also, very heartstring pulling. I want more!!!
this is so woke it feels like a parody. whoever made this is either trolling or genuinely has zero self awareness.
