Reviews
True platformer game (with some combat) that gives nostalgia from old playstation games, but visualy very nice and new Very good story
not super far into the game yet but I'm really enjoying playing it! really does feel like if ratchet & clank was more of a melee action game, movement feels really smooth! I have had some querks with an xbox style controller where sometimes it just grappling hooks without pressing a button

Classic PS2 era platformer. Combat is really simplistic, and the story is pretty standard. But it brought me back to those good ol' days from scouring the level to find every secret.
Are you looking for a PS2 game? You found it. Duskfade gives the appearance of a Kingdom Hearts game but it really plays more like a melee Ratchet and Clank. I recommend it, especially if you know going in that you are getting more of a PS2 B games with all it's quirks. Pros: - Presentation - Gameplay feel - Bosses Battles Cons: - Stale Progression - Gated exploration (Have to revisit the zones after you get ALL powerups) - Unrewarding exploration (Often rewarded with currency that is very easy to be maxed out on)
Only played a little and i already love the story and the vibes this game brings me back to. They were not lying saying it was inspired by ps2 games. My only real problem and the reason i am not playing more before writing this is the game has some pretty insane artifacting. My pc is more than capable and I don't have that happen often, so its not my pc. i know it is a small dev team, so i am sure it will be fixed soon and i cant wait to hop back in!
W game. Super inspired. Mad colorful and vibrant. W voice acting. Great platforming. Movement is solid. Would recommend
Fun 3D platformer! Great movement, Extremely responsive controls, fun platforming, rewarding exploration, and beautiful world design (plus the game just looks great in general), only thing lacking is the combat is not the most in depth but the difficulty keeps it interesting for the games runtime.
A really well done updated take on the old classic 3D action platformers of older consoles like the PS2 or original Xbox, with beautiful visuals and music and giant levels with lots of exploration. The platforming is fast and tight. The regular combat isn't up to the same level but is still fine, and the many boss fights are very fun. The story and atmosphere are just what you'd expect from the visuals (that is, very straightforward and suitable for a younger audience). I wish there was a map feature, but the game already gives you a lot of value for its low price.
A love letter to the 6th generation. Combat is a little flat but the movement and platforming is buttery smooth. It would be really funny if the devs pulled a Jak II in the sequel.
