What an artful experience that truly brings back that nostalgia of the platform games on PS2, but more updated and with a smoother experience. I have been thoroughly enjoying the environments, the different kinds of upgrades are very fun, and the writing has been a fun amount of cheeky~ The elements of grief hit well, and I'm excited to see where the ending takes us. For any true lover of platformers, you'll def want to check this game out. It feels just like the older games, but it is a new experience I'm glad to have.
absolutely loved this one. the gameplay feels great, with smooth controls and a flow that kept me hooked the whole time. exploring the world is fun and rewarding, and everything just feels polished. the visual style is easily one of the game's biggest strengths. it has a gorgeous look that stands out without trying too hard, and every area is packed with atmosphere and charm. overall, duskfade is a fantastic experience and one of the most enjoyable games i've played in a while. highly recommended.
A exploração é o grande destaque.
⭐ Minha nota pessoal: 8 / 10
Excellent game
Duskfade After 1st boss review Very Kingdom Hearts inspired. Absolutely beautiful game. It's a platformer with combat, no where near the other way around. Controls are intuitive, but sticky. Enemies only respawn if you leave the area completely. Enemies know the controls are sticky and will swarm you on a miss or bad dodge. Feels like a kids game in tone and plot feels weak. Linear levels, kinda confusing layouts. Looks like I'm locked out of parts of the levels until I unlock some things Upgrading is kinda a bummer, slow and low impact on gameplay Boss fight and mini boss fight was awesome and did a great job at mixing platforming and combat. Most platforming is pretty easy. Combat is pretty satisfying. And did I mention the game is absolutely beautiful, like I have to stop and take in the level at times.
just overall a fantastic game seeing various PS2 era inspirations
